Sleeping:) Both of us are in the North American eastern time zone. Mods cannot be here 24/7. We too eat, sleep, work and have personal lives like the rest of the members:)
It takes two to tango. If you can't stand the heat, then hit the report button and ignore them. As and when the mods get here they will look into it.

Shee, Your thread was given a chance. None of us like to close it at the first sight of any disagreements in the thread. We try our best to keep the thread alive. Its only when it goes really overboard, thats when we decide to close it.
Yesterday their were complains on that thread. I could have closed it right then but i felt their was scope for a healthy discussion. The thread was around 25+ pages at that time and I felt their was no need to close it bcoz it was still under control except for a couple of posts that were getting personal with members. And so i just left it with a warning in one of the pages, thinking people will continue with the healthy discusson.
But later things went berserk again with the name calling and personal abuses and thats when we decided to close it...

Viewbies Note for this thread.
I have to head out to work now. Logged in for a minute and saw tons of PM's and reports on this thread. No time to go thru the pages to decide the status of this thread. Closing it now and will go thru it later.
Either way, locking threads doesnt seem to make much of a difference. If one thread is locked the fights get carried on to a different tread. In future the posts which get personal with members will be deleted if it still continues after a warning note. There are members who want to have a healthy discussion, lets not spoil the fun for them.
