Is Sonam Kapoor really a bad actor ? - Page 4

I'd say she's pretty awful. save Delhi 6( some scenes i remember watching) she was good. barring that, she wasnt good in any of her films.

I think Sonam needs self-introspection. When someone isn't even willing to CONSIDER what is lacking in their acting, improvement is difficult...she BADLY needs training in dialogue delivery...like VERY badly...she needs to have the humility to accept that and get training from somewhere...I like her as a personality, for her fashion sense...but I don't see her being willing to accept these shortcomings anywhere so far.

She has the ability to look fragile onscreen...that has been used nicely onscreen by some of her directors...but when it really comes down to strong roles that require a certain amount of PRESENCE, EMOTIVE ability, POWERFUL dialogue delivery...she lacks...

She shows flashes of good acting from time to time like in portions of Mausam and Delhi 6...especially the latter portion of Mausam as Aayat matures in age...but overall the problem remains with her childish tone in dialogue delivery...if she manages to fix that, I think her acting will improve tremendously.

Also I'd like to add that Sonam lacks that UNINHIBITED quality that an actor needs to have...she can't really dance and ends up looking awkward body language-wise many times.

I think she is good, she was decent in Saawriya, Dehli 6, even Thank You and Mausam she had a few decent scenes but she gets targeted as she has given more flops than hits

She worked with some of the best people in the industry. She was launched by Sanjay Leela bansali !!! Yet she is the most untalented actress in bollywood now. I am not just talking about her acting. She can't dance, emote well, her dialogue delivery is so bad. She is only good in one thing and that is dressing up. But I think anushka looks way better even though she doesn't have a personal stylist like SL does.

She has been targeted, She is a better actress than Katrina !

I cant believe ppl are saying she was good in IHLS .I would rate Simran of IHLS as one of her worst performance ever..just below Thankyou,Players.The movie was overall a shitty one..bad script,screenplay,direction,acting everything went wrong expect for songs and cinematography.(still got a hit tag well thats BW for you).After seeing Sonam's performance in IHLS my respect for all those heroines who played candyfloss roles in those breezy romcoms of 90 went up..

Yes she showed sparks of brilliance in movies like Mausam an Delhi.But she still has many flaws the main one being voice modulation and dialogue delivery! What i find extremely annoying is that Sonam just dont accept her own shortcomings.Neither is she ready to work for rectifying them.Both the critics and viewers thrashed Players,Thankyou etc after its release.But there she was in her fairy land cussing the haters and retweeting all the positive tweets by her fans.With Deepika though she isnt a natural actor,somewhere i feel she has a little passion to improve pathetic acting skills.(though no considerable improvement has been shown by her till now expect for Lafangey Parindey).Sonam is just not willing to do a self evaluation also lacks the passion to work on her skills. She has this "everything should be served on a silver platter" attitude when it comes to her profession.

she is not better than deepika in acting.

may be similar to kat, but kat is barely better i guess.

She is far better than that Nargees...
