I liked her in Aisha, Mausam, Delhi 6 and Saawariya...she needs to improve in dialogue delivery and films like Players and Thank You not too sure but she's not a bad actress...she can improve.

good in acting with attitude, acting like a fashionista, acting like a well versed literary scholar, good in acting like she pays for everything herself ...

I've seen her in Saawariya and Delhi-6. She was superb. She deserved the newcomer award more than Deepi for OSO.

Then came Aisha and IHLS - which were good. She acted well in them.

I haven't seen her 3 films after that.

But she gets 99% more attention for her off-screen endeavours, so that's why people forget that she has proved she can act.

Sonam doesn't need to act anymore.. She has become some sort of Bollywood Ambassador .. Reps for all the worlds designer brands and weight loss companies.. Waytogo 👏 👏

I only liked her in Delhi 6, wouldn't really call her a bad actor. She just need the right roles.

Sonam has done a variety of roles ..some of them she did very well.

Professionally she is not as big a flop as Anushka Sharma who is an overated one note, repetitive actress..who let a newbie steal her thunder in her last film...inspite of a bikini scene😆

Apart from Anushka's 3 films contract with YRF..she manged to get a small role in Patiala House(which no frontline actress would even be asked to do--just like no topline actress would do an Srk-Katrina film as a second lead)

After 7 Khoon Maaf flopped ..every actor walked out of Vishal's film..or film itself got snatched away(2 States)..by the time Vidya walked out of Daayan...Bhardwaj was on his knees begging..for ANYONE😔.

The producers ,directors are shrewd enough to note that(despite her awesome PR).. The forum can amuse themselves LOL..but it doesn't change facts!Anushka debuted in 2008..its 2012 now!

At least the industry wanted to work with Sonam...has anyone shown any interest in Anushka...Akshay kumar is acting with Illeana and Kajal Aggarwal..would Anushka be even considered for Outim2...Nah!Zero sex appeal..

YRF never pays anyone much..contract actors get a monthly stipend?she could do with some money..

Ranveer who is even more average looking than Anushka has bagged 3 outside banners..and good roles..(he debuted in 2010😆)

Whats the point in posting dozens of threads on Sonam's acting..who are you comparing her with?

She is the only one who hasn't been able to get rave reviews for any of her performances. Deepika, Imran.. even Katrina have stood out in one or two movies.. but not sonam. Sonam's heart is somewhere else, dil nahi lagta uska acting mein. She genuinely doesn't seem to care about acting.

^She got rave reviews for Delhi 6! Problem is while everyone else got rave reviews in their 20th, 10th, 8th films...Sonam got it in her 2nd and then she went backwards with her 7th film being the worst reviewed! Not to mention that rave reviews or not, only 1 film was hit! If Delhi 6 was a big hit people would have remembered that! Sad situation!
