NANI'S FIRST TRUE ROMANCE

Actor Nani is doing something he's never done before, onscreen at least. He seems to be pretty excited about it. "I have never acted in an out-andout romantic flick till date. Be it "Ashta Chamma" or "Ala Modalaindi" they were both romcoms but "Yeto Velli Poyindi Manasu" will be a true blue romance," says Nani who will be romancing Samantha in this flick.
Gautham Menon, who has made romantic blockbusters like "Minnale" (which was remade as "Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein" in Hindi) and "Ye Maya Chesave" and is directing the bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu. Nani feels that this film will appeal to everyone. "'This could be your love story' is the tag line of the film. It is about contemporary romance that will strike a chord especially with the youth. Having said that, the film has something in it that everyone will be able to relate to," adds Nani stating that 60 per cent of the movie's shooting is completed. With films like "Eega", an animation centric flick and now "Yeto Velli Poyindhi Manasu", the actor does seem to be consciously experimenting with different genres. "Well, I've always tried to do different things, it's just that I am getting a variety of scripts to choose from and I am trying to make the best of what's coming my way," says Nani.
