Isn't the story dragging?

I have not watched a single episode of this serial as not getting time. But, I am aware of the story thanks to the written updates.

The name of the serial is "Devon ke Dev- Mahadev". Mahadev's purpose was not simply to marry Sati. But still so many episodes have been spent only on that. So don't you think the story is dragging too much?

They need to show a lot more of important things -
1. Lord Shiva killing various demons, such as the demons of Tripura
2. Drinking of poison
3. Shiva - Parvati story

and many others.

This is what the makers have based the show on...

'Devon ke Dev...Mahadev' is the story of Shiva, the most powerful God within the Hindu culture, as a sansarik or householder. The show portrays his journey from a hermit to a house holder. Sati who is the daughter of Daksh, a staunch Lord Vishnu devotee, is drawn to Shiva against the wishes of her father. Experience the mesmerizing journey of Sati falling in love with Shiva, her point of view of the Mahadev...the most charismatic God of Hindu mythology only on Life OK from 18th Dec. daily ...

Earlier the show was going to be titled Sati...but I guess the makers changed the title to Mahadev so they would be justified in showing Parvati and Ganesh etc if the show took off and did well. So you can expect this track to go on for a little while longer because they're definitely showing Sati's story in a lot of detail.

But in answer to your question, personally I don't feel like it's dragging too much. Sure some episodes are faster paced than others but overall it's a good show. Maybe you should watch an episode or two. 😊

Yes i also think that they should show more of mahadev but i think the story is very far fron the incident of ''''drinking the poision ''''because i think vishnu got laxhmi during the samundra manthan

at this moment the main focus is Sati and her journey to become Shiv's wife... and yes the story is dragging...I 'm so hoping to see more off Shiv...and his actions...

I dn't think its dragging rather DKDM is showing Shiv-Sati's luv story in such details dat i got to know many such incidents which i've never heard of like chandrama's 27wives n Daksha's curse on him, how Mahadev became Chandrasekhar,Sati's sawamvar ye sb to mujhe pata hi nhi tha thnx to DKDM 4 dat:-)m thoroughly njoyng dis show even i think its one of d bst mythological show i've ever seen:-)

nope its not dragging at all ..instead it is getting interesting day by day ...before this serial could start i never even knew that ardhanareshwar form of shiva existed ...this show has marked a new milestone in indian telly world ..its truly amazing , mythological , divine and informative

Dragging! Not at all. As the story line says "his journey from a hermit to a house holder" it's entirely about the human side of Shiv. Just enjoy the show my friend

they are not at all dragging & there were many seriels on Shiva where they say say half based truth on the incidents happened. We have never Known How & why Shiv -sati met, y were they destined to be together , infact it's good that some creative team has come up with their story.
