Ezhil, Siva to team up again

Director Ezhil, who has directed biggies including Vijay (Thulladha Manamum Thullum), Ajith (Raja), Prabhu Deva (Pennin Manadhai Thottu) and Jayam Ravi (Deepavali), is so impressed with Sivakarthikeyan's performance in his Manam Kothi Paravai (MKP) that he has decided to work with him again!
Ezhil confirms, "Siva's performance is a plus point for my film. I wanted to cast a guy who would look convincing when he has the jitters while admitting his mistakes to his parents and proposing to his girlfriend. The audience will expect an established hero to bash up the goons and solve all the problems in a jiffy. But, they will enjoy the scenes when Siva tries to face the crowd and escape from his problems. He is a natural performer and his comic timing is amazing. I have another script ready with me — a rom-com — and I think Siva will be the perfect choice. The entire team of MKP is likely to work on my next."
Ezhil tells us that he always takes inspiration from the little incidents that take place in his life. "In Thulladha Manamum Thullum, there's a scene in which Vijay's friend lift him with the cot when he's asleep and place him in the middle of the road. I, along with my friends, did the same to a shopkeeper who refused to give us a loan! It's difficult for a youngster from the city to adapt himself amidst a bunch of villagers. I conceived the script of MKP when I visited my village recently and got chatting with my friends," informs the director.
Ezhil plans to release the film, which has music by D Imman, by the end of April.
