He would have been The Man Of My Dreams if i did not have a real man in real life 😆 but that should give you an idea of how much i love the character Kunal Chopra. His dignity, self respect and unrelenting attitude is what makes him what he is (and of course Sameer does a fab job portraying all that 😳)
Today he seemed so helpless. Going from one office to another to find a lawyer for himself and finding none. Then they way he talked to his mom about feeling lonely. His helplessness in saving him self AND not being able to keep his family happy is so 'real'. we all feel helpless at some point of time in our lives. There comes a time when the paths to future are blurry with fog, we have nothing to look forward to.
And such is a time when you need a partner, a shoulder to cry on. Kunal has one but she is on the mute mode for reasons only known to herself and God. He is scampering back to his old days of low self esteem, booze. He is shrinking back into his own shell. NOW is the time when as a wife, as a friend Siddhi should forget her own pain and helplessness to support him, to tell him in every possible way, how much she appreciates him and loves him. that no matter what happens, she will be by his side cause she truly believes, even after witnessing him and witcha close that night in the hotel room, that he is innocent and that he has respected the sanctity of their relationship, even when he had a choice to forget everything about a dysfunctional relationship and enjoy good times with his ex-gf.
Alas! i dont know what is she waiting for. She is either swallowing in self pity or cooking 'khayali pulao' when the man is sleeping or has passed out! I understand the build up for drama sake but how much pressure can the man tolerate before he withdraws himself for good? What will Siddhi do then?
I feel worse for him because he acted like a true man and took the right decision in denouncing Witcha that night. He dutifully turned back to his wife and yet he has to face the worst time of his entire life. What if he had succumbed to Witcha's advances?! this case would not have happened. His reputation would not have burnt at the stake. He would have still had a job. His mom and dad would have been happier to see him settled. He is paying for a right deed and too for a woman who is still hesitating about every damn thing!
She hasnt still thought of explaining that night's incidence to him. She still hasnt thought of saying sorry. She still hasnt thought of comforting him. Confession of her feelings look far fetched to me right now!
I am just so frustrated with Siddhi right now, it may not have any effect on me when she finally confesses her feelings. Sometimes you long and suffer so much and so for a thing that when you finally get it, you hate it for all the pain it put you through. I hope Siddhi, this doesnt happen to you because making him wait too long.
