Exactly!! If you hadn't mentioned this then I would have made a separate post on it! Initially I was mad at Jai as well, but these words of his struck me!! Seems to me that Jai really wants to try it out! He had said, 'if someone comes back then that is your fate and if not then that is your fate as well.' I think he wants Bani to react to it, to tell him in plain and clear words that she does not want to leave him. He wants verbal assurance from her. Although he does understand her actions and silence, he wants to hear the same!
That seems to be the reason he keeps repeating this line like a parrot, 'Bani this marriage is a facade. Soon you will be free.'
He wants Bani to assure him through words that she is his fate.
But I agree, I wonder how he became a successful businessman?😆
