No don't be so hard on jai u all. He is just very nervous about matters of love. Precisely coz he is an important man, he doesn't want to make a fool of himself again. He says , in his mind , when Pia came to see him, 'I am not lucky in love". In fact he is doubtful about what is love.
It shows he is a very sensitive and a complex character

I feel Jai loves Bani undoubtedly but hasnt sensed Bani love has she too hasnt told him verbally and he cant just assume that she loves him since Jai too has suffered a recent heart break from Pia atleast this seems so in Jais case but I feel the turning point wil be the day Bani declares her love for him openly may be dance with Saloni on 6th July will do the trick and Jai will sense it and then he will openly confess his own love for her I hope so 😛

C'mon yaar our Jai is very confused about Bani I think it is reasonable of Jai being confused agar Jai ko pata hai ki Bani ek na ek din usse alag honi hai par woh itna bechain hai iss baat sse ki uske jaane ke baat sse usse Kyun itna zyada uneasy feel ho raha hai to agar woh apne aap se sawaal nahin karega to usse realise kaise hoga ki he is love with Bani.....................

Mark my words he will confess to bani out of all these questions raise in his mind.........
