Part 4:

Khushi woke up only to find Arnav sleeping right beside her but with a pillow in the middle. She is not uncomfortable seeing Arnav right beside him. And she wonders why? Has she accepted that he is now her husband and has every right on her?

Yes he has every right on her but no he would never misuse it. Never ever would he stoop low. And the proof is the pillow which he has cared to place between them. She knew that he cared, the way he wanted her to eat yesterday. But why does he not want to listen to my side of story? She figured the reason was that he was not ready to talk to me yet. But she understood that Arnav needs some time. Too much happened in a day and he did everything just to save his D. No, it's not his fault entirely.

Thinking she gets out of the bed and goes to the washroom. Once out, she finds that Arnav is still sleeping. Trying hard to not make a noise she goes to the dressing table and starts brushing her hair. Just when she is about to put Sindoor, Arnav wakes up, sits on the bed, and both look at each other, Khushi is looking through the mirror as her back is towards Arnav. Still looking at each other Khushi fills her maang.

Eventually both look away and Arnav moves to the washroom, only forgetting his towel. Khushi leaves the room and after his shower, Arnav realizes that he has left his towel on the bed outside. He opens the door a little bit.

"Khushi, u there?"

There is no reply and he realizes that Khushi is not in the room. He gets out of the washroom naked and reaches the bed. He is just about finishing wrapping the towel around his waist when Khushi walks in.

"Oh!..." She says and immediately turns her back.

Arnav, a little embarrassed makes a dash towards the washroom. On his way to the bathroom, he says,

"You can come in."

Everybody is sitting around the dining table for breakfast. Arnav comes downstairs and instead of taking a seat for breakfast, goes and sit on the sofa/couch nearby. Khushi and all look confused and Anjili asks,.

"Chote, why are you sitting there? You don't want to eat breakfast?"

Arnav replies, "No didi, I will eat it later with Khushi."

Khushi is stunned and confused and then she realizes - it's a way for Arnav to make sure that Khushi does not skip her meals anymore.

Anjili, Dadi, Payal and Akash have a big smile on their face, except Shyam, while Khushi is a bit embarrassed.

Later Khushi and Arnav eat their breakfast together in silence. Both just stare at their plates while eating.

After breakfast, Arnav is on phone and roaming around the kitchen area. Shyam does not realize that Arnav is nearby and walks to the kitchen where Khushi is working.

Shyam says, moving closer and closer to Khushi "Khushi ji, wo humain…"

Khushi turns around and he is a meter away from Khushi when Payal comes in between them, protecting her little sister from this monster.

Payal speaks up with a straight face, "What is it Shyamji, what do you want?"

Shyam is surprised to see Payal and goes away without saying anything.

Not far away, Arnav has witnessed the whole scene. He is confused seeing Payal's reaction. So does Payal know everything? The way she came between Shyam and Khushi, it was obvious that Payal did not want Shyam to talk to Khushi. Payal was definitely protecting her sister. If Payal knew everything then why didn't she find anything wrong with Khushi's and Shyam's relationship, why didn't Payal stopped Khushi from doing all this?

No all this was not making sense. There was definitely something fishy. Was Arnav Singh Raizada being made a fool of? What the hell was going on? No he just can't sit like this and let things get worse. He will have to do something.

Later in office that day, Arnav appoints a detective to spy on Shyam. He wants the detective to find out everything about Shyam – from the day he was born till present.

And there is a knock on the Arnav's office door. His secretary walks in with a lunch box.

He says, "Good afternoon sir, someone has sent lunch for you."

Arnav a bit surprised, looks at the lunch box and thinks that it must be D who has sent lunch for him. His secretary places the lunch box on the table and Arnav immediately calls home.

Khushi picks up, "Hello"

Arnav realizes its Khushi and asks, "Khushi, let me talk to D."

Khushi, "Wo Di is not around. You can call on her cell."

Arnav replies, "No its ok. Just tell her not to send me lunch at office. I always eat at the office canteen."

Khushi, in a low and scared tone, " Ji wo, Anjili ji did not send the lunch for you. Actually it was me; I thought it was better to eat home cooked food than the junk food from canteen. "

Arnav, surprised, "Oh! Umm ok" and hangs up.

Later he makes sure he eats every bit of the food Khushi cooked for him.

Since then, Arnav and Khushi have been eating every meal possible, together. They have also been sleeping on the same bed but with a pillow in between.

A couple days later Arnav quickly walks in his bedroom with a tray holding two plates of breakfast and two coffees for both him and her. Khushi is still sleeping as it is only 6:30 am. Arnav goes near Khushi and sits near her legs. Placing the tray on his lap, he wakes Khushi up gently shaking her arm.

"Khushi, get up."

Khushi sleepily gets up and asks, "Kya hua Arnavji? (What happened?)"

Arnav replies, " I am sorry Khushi, I have to leave early today. I have a meeting (with the detective). So I made breakfast for both of us. Let's eat."

Khushi does not know what to say!! She understands that Arnav cares for her but making breakfast for her was too much to digest. She is happy that Arnav cooked for him. Well, isn't that what every married girl wants. But she can't eat so early in the morning either!! Its only 6:30 am.

Khushi says, "Wo Arnav ji…(Arnav is looking at Khushi)… I can't eat so early in the morning."

Arnav lets out a sigh. Khushi realizes that Arnav does not like this.

So she says, "But I promise, that I will eat it later."

Arnav obediently says, "Ok, but please don't skip it."

Listening this, Khushi has tears in her eyes. Arnav starts to leave with his plate to sit and eat on the nearby chair and let Khushi sleep when Khushi holds Arnav's hand and stops him from leaving.

" Don't go." Hesitantly she further speaks "I will…umm…drink coffee."

And she takes the cup from the tray and both in silence eat/drink. After finishing Arnav gets up with the tray of food. He also takes the cup from Khushi and is about to leave the room when he turns back and says, "Bye" to Khushi.

Precap: Arnav finds out the truth!!!

I wanted the truth revealed in this part, but I couldn't resist writing these little scenes between Khushi and Arnav. But Arnav will find out the truth in the next part and I might finish the story by 7^th part.

Awww that was so sweet.. Yess its every girl's dream to have her hubby cook for her n it was so adorable.. Loved all the lil moments between them.. Plzz reveal the truth soon and continue sooner
