I think in my opinion if they can replace sonakashi...why not replace deepika with another actress...race 2 started shooting last year and they keep pushing the dates and dropping an actress and adding another one...Chits suppose to be in the movie as well but no longer part of it

Deepika and her starry tantrums😆The girl has hardly any hits last year and the girl behaves as if she is the most cultured nice and what not human being. Gosh i still can't get over her stupid accusations and weird jokes in KWK😵 She can't act. Stone faced.

Besides, other people are involved...the other cast and crew...there's a lot involved in moving making...she's not worth all that trouble...she has to stay...
I bet they show her the bill it will cost them if they have to stop production and do another recast etc...It's not worthed...I bet that's why the guy filed a complaint in the 1st place.

I read some comments above and I think that what happened to Deepika is not because she does not have a godfather...

It's simply that you don't mess up with producers...whoever you are...they bring in the money to make a movie...they can make or break an actress...it's all about power...and these producers are tight with each other...so Deep. has to be careful how she threads in this one.

Look at Katrina...remember when she opted out of Karan Johar's movie with Ranbir..(and ironically, Deep. picked it up)... Katrina had to get back into the good graces of Karan by doing an item number: Chikni Chameli...And now they are back in good terms... and she's doing Dostana 2 with Karan.

Although Karan knows that Kat is powerful in her own way...she was still the one who had to bend...in part because she screwed up...and also because she knows that Karan can damage her if he wanted to...

those are just the rules of the game...It's not for nothing that the category of best film comes at the end of award shows...that's simply because producers are it!...They might not get a lot of exposure...but they are the powerhouses that control everything behind the scenes... they bring in the mulah... without it, a movie cannot be made to let an actor/actress shine.

And Kat was very smart...and more importantly, her friction with Karan did not go this public and nasty.

So I think Deepika is making a big mistake...if indeed she's putting conditions into coming back to Race 2 when it seems that she was the one at fault...and making the whole thing public.

And finally, I don't think the producer is desperate to have her...it's just that it will be a hassle ...and add additional delays...which translate into extra costs...if they have to restart the casting and a complete reshoot with another actress when they already have 6 days of shoot with Deepika in the can...

It will just work better for everybody if she stays...

It was pretty clear since day one that the producers were keen on casting Deepika, and it's a known fact that they have been constantly changing their dates to accommodate her schedule. This means the other actors in the film had to change their dates just for one actress, there is no way she can leave them in limbo after all this. Even Sonakshi got fed up and walked out.

How does this issue have anything to do with male chauvinism whatsoever?! I'm glad they taught her a lesson, she wouldn't have returned if they weren't right. They were ready to sue her and she knew how the case would end, so she had no other choice.

Unfortunately, this is the case with many Bollywood actors. They would do anything to get their hands on a Hollywood project. What's so special about Hollywood to begin with?! It's just as commercial as Bollywood.

that chikni chameli thing came out of the blue. Karan asked Katrina

to do it and she agreed as she is doing Dostana and Karan is not going

to make a cheap song. her faith was well founded; look what the song

did for her!!

there was no bending and what not involved with katrina, because she never

screwed up in the first place. she refused Rockstar and who knows how

many other movies including the one with Rajnikant which Deepika picked up

andnow has gotten into so much trouble over.

that might have happened with katrina if she got greedy but she knows

how to conduct her professional life. thats why she is where she is.

Trust me...I'm a Kat's fan...And she is very professional...she would never behave like Deepika...But I'm pretty much sure that I read couple of articles (which I'm lazy to find) that Karan was miffed with her when she refused the movie with Ranbir...Granted, she had not signed yet...but she was pretty much confirmed.
There's a video of Ranbir talking to his fans on the set of Barfee telling them than he was doing that movie with Kat..The reason she changed her mind as per buzz is that she was still hurting from their breakup...I think now they are fine...as per buzzes again..

All these thoughts are speculations anyway...we are not in the entourage of these people to know the truth of things...but I know I read that Karan was not happy that she changed her mind about working in his movie...then rumors came that she did Chikni Chameli to get back in his good graces.
