Colors acquires 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja' show

Colors acquires 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja' show Colors has been named as the new broadcaster of the hit dance show 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja'. It was previously with Sony Entertainment Television Asia.

The show is expected to launch in a huge way with Bollywood dancing queen, Madhuri Dixit already confirmed as one of the judges on the relaunched 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja'.

Sony Entertainment Television Asia ran the show's first four seasons successfully with stars like Baichung Bhutia, Meiyang Chang, Mona Singh and Prachi Desai winning the contest.

the show wasn't a success with sony...i was surely hoping tht sony will not continue JDJ becoz they couldn't spark it anymore..neither big boss nor jhalak except for 1 0r 2 seasons they couldn't engage the audience like they should...even indian idol couldn't repeat its success after season 1...colors is now struggling on trp's and taking reality shows can boost up its ratings according to them...well god save them

jhalak season 4 had a huge jump in ratings from the first 3 seasons cuz of madhuri, im ecxited shes doing this but that means no film yet, and i dont have colors so ill have to watch online :( wish it had stayed on sony

This is a bad decision since a lot of people don't have Colors in their region/country.
Would definitely affect the ratings. I will have to watch it online😒
I loved the last season and am an ardent fan of the show.
I wish they hadn't done this!
