It has become pretty evident that Sony TV's Kya Hua Tera Wada is loosely based on the Bollywood movie Biwi No 1.
Mouli Ganguly, who has been roped in to play Pradeep's girlfriend in the serial, is excited about her role. "My character is that of a single, confident, self-made woman who is complete and satisfied in her professional sphere, but is not complete in her personal space. The character is definitely not predictable and does not have shades of grey."
Not having played a character like this before Mouli is glad to have bagged the role of the 'other woman' who will be shown in the next few episodes. "My character Anushka is not of a typical vamp, as we see generally. I have never done a character like this before and I am looking forward to it. The whole love affair is dealt with in a mature manner."
She goes on to say, "In reality people always think that the other woman in a man's life is to blame. But life is not that simple. There are a lot of complications. It might not be morally correct, but the other woman may be filling the void in a man's life and understands him better. That does not necessarily mean that he does not love his wife."
