As far as i can tell, there is none 😕 The judges give their comments and feedback and then they leave the decision of who is eliminated to the Grand Master (Mithun Da). But i dont feel like we get any proper reasoning behind who is out and why.

I feel like there needs to be a better way of eliminating the contestants...why cant the judges give scores out of 10 for each contestant? Then whoever has the lowest total on elimination day would be eliminated. Of course there can be bias from the judges...but still, better than the current system.

As long as they have reasons behind those points as well, I am up for it. But knowing them, they will assign random points that have no meaning, just like they comment on contestants and eliminate them without any meaning or substantial reason for doing so.

I don't think there ever has been a scoring system on DID like there was one on JDJ and other dance-based shows. I remember in DID1, the masters used to say out of 10, it's a but it didn't count for points or anything.
Yeah the eliminations don't seem to make much sense at times. I think we're supposed to take the masters comments--the flaws they point out--as the reason for the elimination.
Truth be told, I don't think an actual scoring system that was used to determine eliminations would work on DID simply because the masters are too biased towards their own contestants, especially this season =/ Plus I feel ki you need a strict rubric on the scores..most of them usually end up beign random. I haven't seen very many shows where the scores made sense =/
The current system is flawed as well no doubt about it, but scores puts too much power in the hands of the masters. I definitely don't think its right for dada to have this much power either, but he is supposed to be a "neutral personality" at the end of the day..

Once they have points to refer it is on records and every one will come to know. Then GM cannot play his game with totally different opinion.

When it comes to scoring in a dance performance with different dance styles, it is tough..

This is what I observed from DID3

1. Masters, they have preferential judging style.
Remo is methodical and very analytical. Terrence also and points out the flaws and positives . I think Geeta is more of an intuitive feel based judge. But they have their own team members performing. So, they can be too biased when giving out their opinions.

2. Mithun da: When I started watching the show, I was horrified about him being the main judge in the show. But then this is a dance reality show and it has to appeal the mass. But he held out very well, though not happy with his calls. But I think he did that to maintain the number in 3 groups. You can't eliminate all the team members of one team.

Forming teams and making them compete all creates this illusion of being fair, but dada can't be fair to a dancer in one team because the dancers in the other team are not as good as them. It is a system as of now has worked. They want us public to get angry, frustrated at the same time feel all the pains and emotions of those contestants who couldn't make it because of that.

But I love this show for the same reasons. It is still unpredictable and the best usually doesn't win or even won't get a chance to shine enough. But that doesn't matter for it is the show that has to go on. That people should watch it and make it more popular.

I agree with you Jess :)
Also, the scoring system would clearly show how each judge is biased.. :P
TBH, I sometimes dont understand whether the judge thinks a performance is average or good or anything...they just give their random comments and done! I guess when there is scoring system a judge would be pushed to give proper judgement to reason themselves for giving those points.

MIthun Da is good in saluting apart from romancing 😆
Geetu Ma is great in acting and sometimes pouring cold water or throwing poison darts 😆 But she is pretty entertaining and fun to watch her reactions.
good that both Terence and Remo are lightening up a bit
Love Jay and Soumya 👏👏
