Currently,she is seen as Madinika in a mythological show Devon Mein Dev Mahadev'.Madinika is a dance Guru of Sati and she realises that Sati is in love with Lord Shiva.She is worldly and a catalyst in the love story.A very colorful and a glamorous character,she guides her disciple states Rakshanda.As an actor,a my t h o l o g i c a l character is not easy to play.Its demanding even physically.It takes me almost three hours daily to wear costume jewellery and get ready for this role,"she express
Rakshanda,has been a part of well-known shows like Ammaji ki Galli,Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin and Kyunki saas bhi kabi bahu thi among others.TV has changed a lot.Shows are just TRP driven now, she observes.
She enjoys anchoring and regularly hosts awards functions.Besides this she is also an entrepreneur and has an event management company called Celebrity Locker which she runs with her two partners.
A Lokhandwala resident for over a decade now R a k s h a n d a lives in the back road,which is a few minutes away from the main market.I like to walk on the back road,it's relaxing and soothing, she says.In the main market you can get everything from diet chiwda to a high- fashion apparel, she adds.
Rakshanda loves to have coffee at Barista and her favorite eating joints are Trishna,Northern Tadka,Yokos and Mainland China.
