The rubber snake around Shiv cracks me up. 😆I appreciate they cannot get a real snake...though that would be AMAZING... But, the one they have now is sooo obviously plastic. They surely do better? Maybe some robotics or a real snake skin? Anyone else find it comical? 😆😆 No wonder it doesn't freak out any of the other characters - imagine normal people reacting to a snake around a neck😲 The snake hissing at say Daksh would be funny😆

ha ha...

i remember there was one show-on sahara one i presume where they actually used a REAL snake(eeks!),and bechare Shivji used to be petrified,not to forget the snake used to always be moving specially when the guy playing Shiv had to say some dialogue🤣...and ya showing his tongue to Parvati...🤣...

they could have used some animation on the snake maybe made him move once a while it looks very rubbery...but ya real snakes are scary!

The rubber snake annoys me. This is one aspect where the earlier mythologicals from the late 90s onwards did it better: they actually used real snakes. I remember Om Namah Shivay, Shree Ganesh, Jai Hanuman, etc all used real snakes and the actors seemed pretty comfortable with them. I liked seeing the snake move (and sometimes hiss) while coiled around the actor's neck.

It's a bit disappointing that Mahadev went with the (very fake looking) rubber snake approach. Considering the money they obviously spent on the sets and CGI, the rubber snake is a strange and cheap decision. Unless maybe Mohit did not want to work with real snakes.

This whole thread is funny!! I had also noticed the snake but like the Sanyong, I am usually too mesmerised by Shivji so tend to ignore other inconsistencies 😆. Yes, I think as the rest of the CGI/ sets etc are so good, it does stick out a bit that there is this plastic immovable snake just sat there.

I am going to take pleasure in the vision of the snake hissing at Daksha! 😆
