What's with the rubber snake - Page 2

I know, I wish the creatives had used some sort of animation to make that snake look real. I love the show and I am fascinated by each and every character but little nuances like the rubber snake do make a difference. At the end of the day, this entire show uses a lot of animations and graphics for all that is surreal and Mahadev's look is absolutely stunning...just wish they had paid attention to the snake 😔

I'm not sure that animation would be a good idea. It's one thing to create CGI backgrounds and beams coming out from weapons/eyes/fingers etc and quite another to believably create a CGI object that would be worn by a real actor. This requires a far greater degree of interaction between real and animated components and places a very heavy burden on the sfx department in terms of ensuring that the resulting effect is believable.

Granted the CGI on this show is much better than other mythologicals but it hasn't come that far yet. On top of that this is a daily show and Lord Shiva has a lot of screentime as well. Too much time and money would be spent on something that likely wouldn't very good either. No, I think a real snake would be the best choice. And clearly it can be done because we have seen it done for years now.

Yes robotics could have been great , since its obvious that its lifeless and just around him BUt yes with technology and for a viewer watching it on TV it would be great if its given robotic life with a graphical touch
