Sibling Rivalry

Hey guys,

ermm..sum of u myt know that i have a little sister..who is about 7..and basically..both our days r incomplete w.o having atleast 1 fight a day lol..i meant i'm almost double her age..and it always seems lyk i bully my lil sister lol..but believe me it's mostly the otha way round haha..i mean because she's the little 1..she seems 2 get away with evrythin lol😕but gettin 2 the main point hehe..

whenever i fight with her..i feel like ermm..i kinda have a right on her to push her about😳but i mean like..when i see other people doing the exact same..i feel kinda awkward and i wanna stop them..but that would kinda be lyk a hipocrite..😕i feel that i can push her about and do what i want but when it comes 2 say 4 example my cousin..then i feel really weird..even tho my cousin is veryy close 2 us..and we live in a joint family..we've been born n brought up 2getha😊

oh btw..my sister does not suffer 4rm child abuse lol..sorry if i made it seems tht way😕😆

sorry for interfering with your post Tina...but i was gonna start a similar topic so i thot to add my questions here instead of having two almost the same discussions😳

Does Sibling Rivalry increase love between each other?

Is it a phase we grow out of as we grow or do adults still fight with their siblings (who they no longer live with) over petty issues?

Sibling Rivalry is definately not a bad thing...but when does it turn ugly?

Fight between brother and sister or between sisters is normal. I know it seems like your younger sister gets away with everything and the truth is , she does. It's the privilege that comes with being the baby of the house. I went through it as well. My older sister and I used to fight a lot. I used to get away because I was the little one.
This fight will stop once you guys are older. Give her a little time because she is atleast 6 or 7 years younger than you. Pretty soon you will be closer to your young adult age and she will be barely touching her teens.
Now my sister and I have a beautiful relationship. We are best friends and share all the happiness and sorrows.
