TOI-Imran Khan, Avantika Malik's simple life

Imran Khan and Avantika Mallik choose to live like a normal couple, despite his celebrity status.

The couple does not have full-time help or even security guards for Imran. Recently, on a lazy afternoon, the duo walked down from their home in Bandra to a nearby supermarket to pick up groceries. Onlookers began taking pictures of the duo as they went about filling the shopping cart with pastas, veggies and fresh fruit.

When they decided to leave, the staff of the supermarket informed them that a huge crowd had collected outside and it would be best if they called their car to the gate to fetch them. Since they hadn't come in a car, they had to call mamujaan Aamir Khan. Aamir sent over a car and his guards to take the duo home, to their apartment building, just two buildings away. What an adventure that turned out to be!

I mean it becomes a part of janta's lives to see actors here and there. And that too in a posh localities where stars live (something like Bandra/Juhi/Pali hill etc.), do people have that much time to be bothered about the stars who are their neighbours so to say? I don't think the rich neighbours of these bollywood stars would give them as much importance as the common junta does.

ur friend is right, they generally dnt...its onli media tht do it n tht 2 @ airports etc and mainly 2 bigger stars like Salman, Big B, SRK, Aamir etc. general janta neva go bizarre ova these stars...as u sed its a part of their life, bt i no da public in UK/USA wud defo go crazy ova seeing a BW star in a supermarket, cos here it aint common @ all😆
