Actor Raqesh Vashisht gets chatty about life post marriage and how he got along very well with actor Kareena Kapoor whileshooting for a movie

When young guns in Tellytown dream of making inroads into the B-Town after a stint in the small screen,actor Raqesh Vashisht treaded a different path by doing precisely the opposite.After doing Bollywood movies like Tum Bin,Dil Vil Pyar Vyar and Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai,the actor hogged more limelight as his emphatic entry into the small screen with the television daily show Saat Phere earned him more brownie points.Raqeshs trajectory since then witnessed a constant upward trend when the actor garnered more shows like Ek Packet Umeed,Simply Sapne and Seven.
Currently seen in Maryada... Lekin Kab Tak,Raqesh feels that he has reached a point where he does not want to do any more films.He says,Television has become my comfort domain.It is an institute in itself because there are no second takes.You get the results immediately.Films are very time consuming.And there is too much pressure to do well.Of course,the money is good,but the anxiety levels are very high to know whether your movie has succeeded or not.
Raqesh,who tied the knot with his Maryada co-star Riddhi Dogra last year,feels that she has brought him a lot of luck.2011 has been very eventful for me.There were no marriage plans and everything happened very suddenly.My life has not changed one bit after marriage because we were very good friends and got along well.When you feel the positive vibes you decide to take the plunge, he says.
With Madhur Bhandarkars movie Heroine in his kitty,Raqesh feels like it is another milestone in his career.It is one of the most talked about movies today.I think it was in my destiny as I did not have to audition for the role.Although I cannot say anything about my role right now,it was wonderful to work with Kareena.We both are Virgos and had a lot of similarities,so I got along very well with her.
Raqesh has seen his share of ups and downs in the industry and feels it is time to settle down in life.He says,I have reached a point where I have gone beyond disappointments.One learns to grow out of every good day and bad day.I take each day as it comes.I have hardened enough to get bogged down by the lows in my day-to-day life.
Leaving the lows apart,Raqesh shares his future plans and says,After finishing shooting for Heroine,I am going to take a break and concentrate on my love for painting.I am also working on setting up my production house and will be seen in a never seen before role of an anchor on the small screen soon.
