This Jakhar family got too many problems. The women in the family are shown very stupid. I cant believe to what extent the show is going to. I really do love watching this show and i was sad that it was coming to an end. But now I really want it o end as useless stupid things are shown. I really wonder what they have in store for us in the next 6 months.I think vidya should get married to the new lawyer. I Mean it will e very stupid if they show that all of a sudden gaurav turns straight n he starts liking vidya.

I think otherwise. They're all women of substance - each one is, even Uttara.

Priya - it would have been very easy to divorce Adi when she found out about his father. Running away would have been the weak thing to do. She stuck it out, and also handled the father the best she could, while not only keeping her relationship with Adi but being happy with him (till everything hit the fan recently).

Devyani - where do I even begin. This woman has sacrificed it all for the sake of her family, and done it with a smile on her face, while she was dying inside each day. In some cases she sacrificed when she should have fought, yes - like in the case of Gaurav-Vidya's marriage. And she realizes that. But for her to put up with this creep for so many years shows immense strength. And she didn't do it our of cowardice, she did it out of love for her children. It would have been cowardice, and a weak person, who would have just survived in that house. Or even given up. She LIVED there, and owned the place, and brought happiness to her children's live as best as she could - that's courage.

Vidya - again, another courageous woman. She took some time, but ultimately, to decide to give up her life and dreams and hope for the sake of the one man she can never have - that's courage. Foolhardy a bit, but courage.

Uttara - to kill her husband, to live knowing that secret and be able to smile again. To love again and to be passionate about it, even if it's the wrong path. She is the weakest of the bunch, yes, and her weakness, and her strength is her desire to be loved. She will fight to the end of the earth for those who love her. She will, I think, be Devyani's savior in the end.

One common thing all 4 have - strength to live in teh Jhakkar house. No one weak can survive in that house.

So ... summarily - all strong women. Each manifests a completely different type of strength, yet they have it inside. Innate, and silent, but very very strong.

i agree with you that i liked the pace it was going when it was supposed to be ending. However regarding vidya she doesnt have to get married. if they wanna show her as strong woman then they need to show that she doesnt need a man by her side to be strong and live her life. plus vidya is in her early twenties and wants to work and study so no need or marriage for her now...plus the lawyer is obviously going to be paired with dev at some point not vidya...and there are not gonna show gaurav turning straight...they all accepted that guarav is gay and he has a relationship with karan that they all know abt now..they are going to get divorced soon

I'm sorry but I have to disagree, this show has some of the strongest female characters in all of Indian telly shows. It's not a bland, unrealistic love story, it's about the realities that lay hidden in our society. These 4 women tolerated so much for so long, that takes guts. Devyani fighting in court is corageous enough alone. Priya has been holding the family together for a long time, supported devyani and fought againt Brahma silently. She stayed with Adi, despite her past. Vidya went from an uneducated village girl in love, to a loving, understanding women and I'm sure we'll get to see her more. Uttara is weak but is also realistic, she fell into the trap of false love. I am overjoyed that this amazing show got an extension, it's real, and the women are powerful, brave, and not perfect. That's the way women should be. It beats the typical "perfect Indian bride" stereotype.
