So today you've finally made it fully clear.
1) Baapji is right. No one is to question him. When questioned,he gives his answer and justification--and his answer and justifications are righteous.
Baa asked him and he gave his reasoning and that's it.
2) As a Dharampatni and Dharambahu, it is one's duty to accept all kinds of treatment dished out, and not only accept it, but willingly ask for more in order to save the in-law's house and family. Because that is what's most important.
3) The girl's family is wrong in demanding an explanation and wanting to know more about what is behind her so called "punishment."
The daughter just says that to her family, and the family just accepts it and says "we are wrong, we are sorry, please for forgive us for our transgressions."
Baapji is not going to get any comeuppance; neither will Saroj; and neither will Kastur learn that she was wrong in blindly going along with Saroj's plan in the name of duty as a daughter-in-law. If she had given her love for Mohan as the reasoning, that would've been fine. But no, we see her give lines about her duties as a wife and daughter-in-law.
We saw Kastur just take everything and anything from Saroj. But that's okay too. Because that's how good Dharampatnis are supposed to behave.
We see Mohan apologising twice to his mother for doing nothing other than standing up for his wife.
Thank you for making the cancellation of this show so much easier to swallow. And thank you for giving me my life back.
