BODY B A S I C S I have started gymming recently ... says TV actress Ankita Lokhande,who has realised that despite a great metabolism working out is necessary to tone up the body MY EXERCISE REGIME I have been blessed with a good body and so,till recently,I never hit the gym.Now,I have started taking time out as I feel that if one has a good body,gymming will only help tone it more.I have a gym trainer who helps me exercise daily and we work on all body parts.In fact,when one loses weight it should be proportional as there is mass being lost from ones body and if we exercise just one body part then our body can become disproportionate.Dance is also a great form of exercise and since I am so fond of it,one positive outcome of dancing is that our body tends to get good exercise. MY DIET My gym instructor has asked me to be careful and follow a diet he has prescribed but that is extremely difficult for me.I cannot live on soups and salads! Luckily,I have never been fond of sweets,oily foods and I dont drink alcohol,which are all plus points for me.I am also not fond of rice and I dont even like ice cream which is hard to believe for many.At the end of the day,I need my roti and sabzi and feel the staple Indian meal is good for ones health and so it keeps me going.I also tend to have a lot of lemon,which I have heard is good to clear out the bodys toxins as well as for ones skin. PROBLEM AREAS Luckily,I dont have any problem areas as such.I have been blessed with a good body and am not working out on any one problem area. MY STRENGTHS I have a very good metabolism,which is important,as people usually tend to eat in closer intervals to rev up their metabolism.I am also proud of my legs as I feel I have been gifted with good,long legs.
