U see Nivi there were actually 2 reasons that Bhavri had given me custody of Jiya one of the reason was that she never wanted me to ever feel like I didn't have a place in the babies life and the other reason was u. Nivi looked at him shocked and said me and Viren smiled and said yes u, she had felt from the little that I had spoken about u that maybe u could be the 1 to help me reconnect with my family. I hadn't known at the time that she and Karan had been following me for weeks and had seen me outside of Shimla until I found her diary and happen to read it unintentionally. She had gotten the idea that if she left Jiya with me when she was born that I would be forced to come here and eventually meet u and every1 else. Nivi was so surprised at that and asked what happened than Viren smiled and said at first I was super mad and we had a huge fight about it. I couldn't believe that she would think like that but when she explained her reasons for wanting to take that step I understood that she only had my best interest at heart. She wanted me to sort out my problems with my family and felt that I would never come to them if I wasn't forced to do so and the only way she could see me coming to them was if I needed help with Jiya. She felt that for me to truly live a productive life that I had to deal with the issues I had with my family. She hadn't intended to leave our life's forever but only until I had reconnected with all of u. It had really shocked me that she would take such a step just so that I would be happy and I had finally agreed that when the baby came I would come back home and try to work things out with every1.

He woke up than and moved to the window and smiled sadly and said that Karan had actually been the one to finally convince me to accept guardianship of Jiya. Nivi said u mentioned him before wasn't he the one who u had asked to help u with getting more information about the fraud case against my dad? Viren said yes he was but he was also a friend of mine, before Bhavri we hadn't been very close even though we knew the same ppl but once he started pursuing a relationship with her we became very close. Viren truly smiled than as he remembered everything and said that for him it was love at first sight he had seen her in a shop and for weeks afterwards he had been looking for her but than he found out that she was pregnant and presumed that she was married. He had been really devastated and had been planning to leave Delhi and probably would never have met her if he hadn't been with one of my friends when I invited them for dinner. My friends absolutely adored Bhavri so when she had finally learnt how to cook properly she decided to cook for all of them. He was shocked to find out that she wasn't married but at the same time extremely relieved coz the weeks he had spent thinking that she could never be in his life had been horrible for him. It didn't matter that she was pregnant coz just the thought that she might be in his life was enough for him. After that he just started coming more and more to my place with some sort of excuse and they started to get to know each another and he realized that he was right she was the 1 for him. It took him a while to convince her that he was the 1 for her coz she felt that love had no place in her life and that she could only think about her baby and making a life for them. But he is a really great guy and she had finally seen how genuine he was and couldn't help but care for him. Nivi asked him why he hadn't wanted guardianship of Jiya and he said initially coz I knew what sort of person Bhavri was and knew that she would never keep me out of the baby life. But also I hadn't wanted to cause problems in her life by him misinterpreting her affection for me so I had refused. But he told me he knew how much she loved him and that he didn't feel threaten coz he knew the reason for her actions and he supported her fully. He told me that she considered me to be more important than her own life and her first priority would always be me and her giving me custody was her way of showing me how much she loved and appreciated me. He said that if I didn't accept she would see it as me still considering her a stranger and would see my helping her as a favor. By than Nivi had seen how much it had drained Viren to reveal all those things and couldn't help but go over to him and hug him.

From the day Viren was finally able to reveal everything about his past he thought he and Nivi could move forward in their life but life once again stepped in and made him deal with issues he thought were in his past. He had come home early from work once and was shocked to see Jiya with Sakshi's mom and without a word took Jiya away from her and went upstairs. Nivi who had come with tea for every1 saw Viren going upstairs so told Nandu to serve every1 and went up as well. Every1 was shocked at Viren's behavior and CC tried to ease the tension and gave a lame excuse that it was Jiya's sleeping time and she often gets cranky so he took her away. After her parents left every1 was extremely worried and DS told Sakshi that they would speak to Viren and make him tell her parents about Jiya. Sakshi looked at ds shocked and said that there was no need to do so her family had made a choice a long time ago and if they never found out about whom Jiya was it was their own fault. And in any case she had no say in the matter if her own sister felt that Viren had more of a right on her child than herself, she had no right on Jiya at all and had left. Sid went to her than and comforted her he knew how much it must have cost her to say that about her parents so told her he would support her. As he hugged her he prayed that everything would work out for every1 coz he couldn't bear to see the ppl he loved hurt and knew than that he was in love with his wife. He aslo prayed that just maybe one day everything would work out for him and she would feel the same way about him as well.

Nivi had entered their room and saw Viren playing with Jiya on the bed and when he saw her he said that he knew what she was about to say that he shouldn't have behaved the way he did. That he should understand that he had also made a lot of mistakes and that she had forgiven him so he should also do the same. She was just about to say something when he carried on and said that he wasn't as nice or as good as her. That he may no longer have any ill feelings towards them but he had no intention of ever trusting them with Jiya. I can put my own life at stake but not hers I won't allow them to hurt her the way they did to her mom and that was final and if Sakshi wanted to reveal the truth she could do so but he wasn't going to speak to them at all. After that he went quiet and Nivi asked him if he was done and Viren looked at her and just nodded and she said I swear I didn't want to leave Jiya with them but what could I do they were already in the house. When they told every1 that they were going to be staying in Shimla I told every1 that I would help with the tea and I went and phoned our lawyer and made an appointment for us to see him. Viren just stared at Nivi in amazement than and he didn't know whether to hug her or kiss her for being so amazing so did both. Nivi got out of the embrace quickly and frighteningly asked him if Sakshi parents could take Jiya away from them and he smiled and told her that she shouldn't worry he wouldn't ever allow that to happen and hugged her again. He smiled in amazement that she had ever doubted her ability to love her own child and Dwita coz she not only loved their own child and Dwita but had fully accepted Jiya as their own as well.

After that day no one told Viren anything and acted like everything was normal but DS hoped that Viren would have enough faith in Jiya's family to reveal the truth to them. Viren happened to overhear a conversation btw Sakshi and her parent and they were telling her they had made a lot of mistakes with Bhavri and her and they wished desperately that they could change everything but couldn't. Her mom said coz of our stupidity we not only lost our daughters but our granddaughter as well u will never know how we regret our actions and if we had a second chance we would do everything differently. Till this day we can never forgive ourselves 4 how we reacted and how we allowed everything to spiral out of control all we wanted was what was best for our daughter but in the process we lost everything. Viren heard the pain and the hurt that was in their voices as they spoke about Bhavri and how much they loved her and wished that they had a chance with both the baby and her and couldn't take it anymore and went to his room. The kids where asleep on the bed while Nivi was setting clothes and he went straight to her and put his head in her lap and closed his eyes. Nivi gently touched his hair and after a while he opened his eyes and looked at her and told her what he had heard. He got up than and angrily said why doesn't Sakshi just tell them that Jiya is there grandchild and then I can just tell them to go to hell and stay away from us. I don't want to speak to them I don't want to see them ever Nivi she waited for them to come to her, she always waited for them but they never came for her. Nivi went and touched his shoulder and told him that Sakshi wasn't going to ever tell coz she feels the decision is only yours and she has no say in the matter. Viren went and sat back on the bed and went quiet again and couldn't help but say she moved on coz she believed they reacted that way coz they loved her and did everything to protect her just like she was doing for her baby but I never believed her until and he stopped and couldn't help but look at his own children. He knew than that if they were ever in danger or where going to be hurt that he would go to any extent to protect them and told Nivi that as well. They were quiet for a while until Nivi asked him what he thought about Bhavri's parent and Viren went to the window and looked out and after a lot of thought said they seemed nice when I didn't know who they were. I see how much they love Sakshi and how they are with the kids they seem genuine and as he said that he realized that he did believe it. But even after this Viren still had a fear that what if they didn't accept Jiya and couldn't bring himself to tell them that Jiya was there's. He had trusted them once before and thought he was doing the right thing by giving them Jiya coz they were her blood even when his heart was telling him not to. This time if he decided to allow them to be in her life he was going to make darn sure he was doing the right thing and it wasn't going to be an emotional decision this time.

As he thought about his reasons for not wanting them in her life more and more he realized that he was once again allowing his fear of rejection to overrule him. He had always feared rejection the most in the past to the point that he had stopped living; he had suffocated the love he had in his heart for every1 and had hurt them coz of this fear. He couldn't help but remember that the reason he had finally decided to come home was coz of Bhavri's words that if he never dealt with the issues he had with his family that he would always be half a person. Who would always feel that he had to prove himself to every1 that he was good enough and needed the approval of others for him to feel secure in life and if he continued on this path did he would never truly know who he was. He finally realized than that he might have finally realized that his family had always loved him but there was a difference btw knowing something and believing and accepted it as being the truth for yourself. He had accepted it as the truth but had never dealt with the emotions behind making him feel that way in the first place. He hadn't realized than that by keeping the secret of what his dad had done he hadn't allowed himself to truly deal with his feelings and move forward in his life with Nivi and his family. All he had known back than was that he had to make amends to every1 and rebuild the trust that he had lost but the way he had tried to go about it was wrong and showed him now that he hadn't truly dealt with his feelings. He remembered the incident when he had gotten angry at Nivi coz she was getting more praise than him at work it hadn't been coz he had been jealous. He had just been again trying so hard to prove that he had changed so that every1 would forgive him that he had hurt her. If he had truly dealt with his issues he would never have reacted that way about her success coz her success was his success coz they were 1 and the same person.

He had always seen his dad's actions as being a reflection of the sort of person that he was, that him doing what he had done meant that DS had been right about him being bad. But the truth was that he had been always waiting for something or some1 to prove he wasn't good enough and to prove that he was right that he was bad and unlovable. He had lost so much coz of his insecurities he had lost his childhood, he almost lost both Jiya and Nivi coz of it but thankfully god gave him the chance makeup for all his mistakes with them. Nivi was his life and she meant everything to him and he knew that she accepted him the way he was but by not being the person he was truly supposed to be he was depriving her of a true partner. He knew now that he couldn't expect that some1 else should complete him but rather that as partners that they share in each another's completeness.

He wanted a better life for him and Nivi and never ever wanted his children to grow up with the same fears, insecurities like him and the only way to move away from the past was to finally put it to rest. He was who he was he wasn't perfect he made mistakes and will continue to make mistakes and that was just part of life. He had a past that was lonely but had a future where through forgiveness and love he never would be alone again coz he had Nivi, his children and his family. He remembered Laboni's auntie's words that forgiveness comes when we accept that we can't change the past that we not only forgive others but forgive ourselves as well for our mistakes. He realized than that if he hadn't been the person he was back than he might not have things he had now. His need for solitude had lead him to Bhavri and if he hadn't been the person he had been when he had first met Nivi they would never have been together and have fallen in love. If he had than the love he had for Sid now he would never have hurt him the way he did and would most probably have told him that Nivi still had been in love with him and would have tried to help him instead of Nivi.

But even with this realization about himself he still had doubts about Jiya's grandparents but he did finally realize that they would never hurt her when he had gone to Sakshi cousin's godh barai ceremony which her mom had organized. It had been a very grand affair and he had thought that her mom had been having a good time but had later seen her crying and telling her husband that she never saw her daughter pregnant and helped her the way she was supposed to. Viren went to Nivi than and told her he would be back soon and had left the ceremony and had gone straight to his apartment in Delhi. He had a lot of pictures of Bhavri pregnant there with either him or Karan and decided to give them to her parents and when he finally did and explained his relationship with Bhavri and that Jiya was hers their joy knew no bounds. Even though Bhavri wasn't with them her dream of them being a family in the true sense came true and every1 was finally happy and together with no more secrets btw them.

Sakshi's parents spent as much time as they could with every1 and since Sid and Sakshi hadn't had a proper wedding and reception had wanted to throw a party for them. But when Sakshi mom heard that Nivren had gotten married in a temple with no family members present she had gotten sad and said she didn't know what was wrong that both her children's weddings had been unhappy affairs. she than said that they should get both couples remarried again and it should be a happy affair and ds and every1 immediately agreed except Viren. He said how could only he and Sid get married when Bhaput Rai Sood had 3 grandsons and every1 looked at him confused and he pointed to Nandu. He said that all 3 of them would get married on the same day since Nandu had also found some1 for him and her name was basanti and every1 laughed and agreed with him. Nivren, Nandu went and took every1's blessings and when it was Sid and Sakshi turn they couldn't help but look at each other and as their hands touched Sakshi took her hand away and smiled shyly at each other. That night in bed when Sid thought that Sakshi was asleep he couldn't help but look at her and say that this was probably the 1^st time he was going to enjoy 1 of his wedding. He then gently touched her face and kissed her on the cheek and brought her closer to him and as he did so she said i hope so too and they both smiled at each another and hugged each another. they hadn't needed to tell each another they loved ach another coz it was there in the way they looked at each another and the way they embraced each another.

It was the morning after their wedding and Nivi was wide awake looking at Viren as he slept. From the 1^st time they had originally gotten married the 1 thing she had always loved to do was watch him as he slept he looked to adorable and innocent he looked. She had always felt like she could see his soul and was one with him during those moments. She smiled as she remembered the wedding it was absolutely beautiful and everything she had ever dreamed it would be and she didn't know how Ma and every1 else had managed to arrange the wedding so quickly but it was a really beautiful affair. She remembered than how she had felt the past couple of days for her even though Viren had made her dress up as a bride she had done it for him and even when they had eventually done most of the rituals she had never been a proper bride. She was shocked that she had feeling nervous especially since she was already married to him and had his kids but she felt like she was a new bride to be. Being with him and every1 else and just sharing that day with every1 had made her very emotional and happy at the same time. Watching every1 happy and enjoying being together made everything perfect but more than that she was happy for Sid. She had seen the love that he had for Sakshi and was very happy that he also found happiness and his soul mate. But when she looked at Viren again all thoughts of every1 else vanished and she couldn't help but smile as she remembered how Viren had gotten angry and thrown a tantrum when ma mentioned that she would have 2 stay at the Sharma's for a few nights. He had told them what was the need for her to go since her house was next door and he would see her anyway. Ma had told him under no circumstances was he to go near the house but when she left Viren being Viren had climbed into her bedroom and had refused to leave. But unfortunately for the poor baby dadima had come into the room and seen him and she had caught him by the ears and told him to go. He did a baby face and told her than that no1 was giving him food and no1 was even making his bed at home and asked her did she really want the groom to faint due to starvation and before she could speak. He said of course not that's why I came here so that Nivi could look after me and dadi just nodded as she and I tried not to laugh but she said firmly that he would still have to go otherwise she would have to call keshav for him. he had finally left and Nivi had thought he had gone home but when she went to her window saw he had got his sleeping bag and was sleeping in it looking at her window. she had gone to him than and told him to go home and they had started arguing and she didn't know how he did it but he managed to get her to the gazebo and when she looked at her surrounding she was shocked that it was decorated with red roses and candles and in the middle was a table with all her favourite dishes. before she could say a word he said i heard that once a couple gets married the romance dies so i thought before that happens i should do something romantic for u so u always remember it and smiled cheekily. Nivi went to him than and was about to hit on the shoulder when he grabbed her hand and kissed it and she forgot what she was about to do. Just than Viren than opened his eyes and smiled at her and kissed her and asked her sleepily why she wasn't asleep and what she was thinking about and she said u and he said obviously and kissed her again as he brought the covers over them.
