Reunion time for Ashwini

Milan ka mausam: Ashwini Kalsekar

Kasamh Se's Jigyaasa may disappear from your screen for some time. Ashwini Kalsekar, who plays the character, has taken a month long break to spend time with family.

"My brother stays in London with my bhabhi, who also coincidentally shares my name — Ashwini. So we have two Ashwini Kalsekars in the family."

Taking time off

Giving details about the trip, she says, "We are having a get-together of this sort after five years. Work has kept me away from spending time with family. This time around, we were present in full force."

So what has Ashwini been up to in her free time? "I went to the Swami Narayan temple here, which is beautiful. I didn't know Kasamh Se was such a big hit here, until I met this young girl. She, apparently, has been watching all my work and wanted to take pictures with me. In fact she even started crying and hugging me in the temple."

She's got the look

Apart from her work, the women in London also complimented her on the Jigyaasa look. "Lot of them told me how much they enjoyed my big bindi and style of tying my hair. In fact the nose ring that I sport is quite a rage here. Some of them remembered my look during K Street Pali Hill days when I had cut my hair short. They liked it a lot and asked me how I got it done."

Serious act

The actress is also trying to lose weight by exercising whenever she gets the time. "London has some lovely parks, so I have been going for long walks, or even trying a hand at skipping in my garden at times. It will definitely help to get some weight off."

Even though she loves playing the vamp, her audience takes her act too seriously. 'Everyone comes and asks me why I am making Bani's life so difficult on the show. But I take this as a compliment."
