although i am a very big fan of her dramas myself...but honestly i want to know the opinion of every1...shud her dramas be baned??

include in ur disscussinon...

1*r they the true face of reality?

2*do they have ny msg in them at all except for what the latest fashion is n the attractive houses?

3*do their stories make sense?

4*shud they be banned?not just in pakistan but else where to?

NO...97% of what is shown is cliched(poor girl getting married into a rich family, MIL and FIL of a certain kind, a hubby who will INVARIABLY cheat on her and have an affair, a child out of the wedlock,one vamp with huge staring eyes flaunting sarees and jewellery, the conspiracies etc etc etc...)....something far from reality....now tell me, have you ever seen any woman spend 20 years of her life machinating plot after plot to ruin a family....gimme a break!!

No...why should they be banned ...there are so many(like you) who love her serials...just because a few dont like it, why must they be banned....even I at times watch her serials(mind you, only at times😆..i dont have the patience to watch any K serial religiously as they are plain cliches of what I have seen before...for eg, kkusum post leap and kyunki post leap are CARBON COPIES......)....i dont see any reason why they must be banned.......

At times it does....at times it doesnt!! 50-50 verdict on that!

No, they aren't .Ppl returning from the dead, having several wives, sleeping with heavy makeup on, thats not at all realistic Hardly any soap or movie is realistic...in a way thats whats special about them. We've already so much of realism in our daily lives, that when we watch movies/soaps, we'd rather be transformed into a dream land....😛

Also, shows like KSBKBT have been running for 6 years now. How can we expect the story line to be realistic after six L-O-N-G years?

NO WAY!!

No matter how unrealistic they are, there is no denying the fact that these soaps are extremely addictive and popular. Thankfully although the ban hasnt been lifted im still getting star plus, but i remember how upset i was when it was banned here. My TV automatically gets switched on at 10.pm PST, watchign Ektas soaps had become a part of my life, couldnt sleep without them😕 And missed updating too.😭 Anyways, its because of Kekta and most of her shows that most of us are here on IF😉

On the whole, I have nothing against Ekta Kapoor. I have no right to criticize her soaps, since I watch them to, and i admit that i am an idiot for doing so, but im hopelessly hooked to give up now😆

Also I konw many people who watch her soaps but dont admit it..whats the use? Before we curse her for her stupid stories, we should curse ourselves for watching her "krap" and encouraging it, she doesnt care what people say, the bottomline is that she is successful, her soaps are doing well, and shes minting money!

For the ppl who watch Kekta soaps but hesitate to admit it, i guess we should be our own cheap selves and enjoy the Dramas while they last(which is for quite a while btw😉)

I have to say that even with all the b***hin i do bout ekta's drama's i still keep watching them😉. They have messages behind them😊 and ekta does tackle some of the really difficult issues about life. e.g, when savita asked for mukti in KSBKBT and most of the time there's is unrealism in them🤢 e.g, every guy has 2 wives, someof it is influencing the youth😕, but still they have to remember that it's just a drama and that these ppl on screen are different to wat they portray as the'r onscreen character😊. But still i have to give her credit for bringing up topics that a lot of drama's would neva touch and her thinking is wat lets ppl really think😃

Yes they do have messages in them, even though some of the messages dont conform to societies views. 😃

Truthfully, sometimes i just get lost and her stories dont make any sense at all e.g someone dying and then coming back to life but then again we have to remember its just a drama, some make sense and some dont😕

No not really, everyone should have the freedom to express wat they want. Ekta is not the one who make's u watch the drama, she's not forcing u. It's ur choice and it's up to u whether u watch them or not😳
