Needs to work on: Katrina needs to work on her acting skills, say industry watchers.
Trade-speak: Every hero wants to work with Katrina. She's known to be hardworking and pleasant to work with on the sets, which always makes her the first choice for any film, say insiders.
Kareena Kapoor
Films on hand: Ek Mai Aur Ekk Tu (with Imran Khan), Agent Vinod (with Saif Ali Khan), Talaash (with Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji), Once Upon a time in Mumbai 2 (Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor) and Heroine (with Arjun Rampal).
Where she scores:Kareena is a perfect combination of beauty, glamour and acting talent. With an enviable bloodline that has produced the finest actors in Bollywood, Bebo has also given some of the biggest hits last year.
Needs to work on: The stories of her tying the knot is driving a few filmmakers away. Besides, the rumours of her being the highest paid heroine in Bollywood is not helping at all.
Trade-speak: She is the only heroine on the top, who can carry off intense performance oriented roles. She is also friendly and pally with all the top Khans in Bollywood, and looks set to rule 2012 too, say industry watchers.
Deepika Padukone
Films on hand: Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (with Ranbir Kapoor), Cocktail (with Saif Ali Khan), Race 2 (with Anil Kapoor and John Abraham).
Where shescores: A good looking girl and a good actor who fits perfectly in an ensemble cast film.
Needs to work on: She needs a few hits as a solo heroine.
Trade-speak:Deepika is a perfect combination of beauty and glamour, and the most wanted after Katrina for a fim.
She is also not as costly as any of her contemporaries, say trade pundits.
