I feel that even Shruthi Hassan being the daughter of Kamal Hassan has worked her way up by getting into music and now acting. In fact i'm not so fancy of Vishal's acting or movies. He is having most of the movies only because of his brother backing up on the producing. In fact lately we have also been hearing that Kartik's son Gautham might debut with Maniratnam. Again we never seen him or know any acting but yet the hype is there because of the father's name.

Having parents in the same industry is big advantage for the star kids to enter into the cine field easily. But for succeding in this field is based on their talents. Vijay, Surya, Dhanush, Simbhu has enter into the film industry easily because their parents are in the same industry but the main reason for them to succed in this field till now is only based on their talent.

But the sad part is there are more true talents who do not have the parents in the film industry are still trying to enter into the film industry but they found difficulties in entering into the field . This is becuase they don't have parents or relatives in the same field. If those people get a chance they will definetly become one of the top actors, directors, or etc.

Ravi,
In life many flowers on the wayside get trampled and destroyed. The flowers that get to bloom bring joy...so Ravi what's my point? M y point is u with your talent in writing should be like the flower that got a chance to bloom

Nice discussion topic 👏

I agree that having parents in industry is a big advantage...but at the end it's all abt individual's luck, hardwork and destiny...parents can only give a start...rest of the things depend on individuals shoulders...abhishek is a perfect example...i mean no offense but even if he is still surviving in the industry ..he must be having this unfulfilled desire in his heart for the whole lifetime...even if people have talent they somewhere lack in luck...for eg- vivek oberoi - he got a gud start wid company ..he is a nice actor (loved him in raktcharitra, although not more than my fav suriya😳) but he is gud in terms of acting...but his career graph stands nowhere

But, but, but there is someone i wud like 2 praise ...and that's ram charan..he has got a big name as chiranjeevi's son...but the guy has got his own spark... frankly speaking i didn't know that he is chiranjeevi's son when i watched magadheera for 20 min...and i was totally head over heels from the very 1st scene...later when i saw chiranjeevi's scene in the movie...i asked my bro - what is chiranjeevi doing here???then he told me that he is chiranjeevi's son...and my ans was - okay i got it😆 and ram charan has got a long way to go and a huge responsibility ⭐️ All the best to him

And, suriya⭐️...boy he has got everything from acting skills to dance skills ...from looks to 6 pack abs...he is just fantastic and perfect👏...he is what he is today on his own⭐️

I believe that luck is the most imp key to survive in this industry...sometimes more than talent, hardwork or any big surname😊

I'll stop my meaningless essay here now...otw dinner mein rotten tomatoes khane padenge mujhe😆

Again, a very nice topic...thanks

Love,
Bhargavi

You said it very well Historylover. Some are just having the 'children of' tag and still surviving in the industry with their parents turning producers for their beloved childrens. But its the skill and talents that makes one grow. Another example is actor Karthi. He has higher expectations especially when his father is a veteran actor and being brother to happening actor Surya. But he came and did it his way and Paruthi Veeran was a sure hit for his acting. He is still having movies because he can act and people love him. Otherwise he would be joining the list of a one movie hit and go missing 😊
