If he was such a great leader and such a nice helper to India, then how will it be a good title? I thought "Hitler didi" is about Indira being very strict and mean, not about being nice and sweet to everyone like you are saying Hitler was.

I thought this name for a serial was very offensive. Even when other serials would reference Hitler, i thought it was wrong. In Baat Hamari Pakki Hai, if anyone remembers, Shravan would refer to his father as "Hitler." This is only one example, there may be many others but the point is that it is wrong to equate someone that is strict with Hitler.

You may say that he helped India. Sure, i don't know the history of India so I will take your word on it. But what about the rest of the world? He tried to wipe out the ENTIRE Jewish population. No. Not just the Jews but everyone who was not Aryan. He put Gypsies, handicapped, mentally ill, and people from many other countries in concentration camps to suffer. They worked day and night with little food and little sleep. Is this even close to what Indira is doing? Can you say she is a Hitler? No! She is good to her family and looks out for them, without harming other people.

I don't understand how all of you can agree to watch a serial that is titled for a man who killed over 6 million people.

TM are u seriously defending hitler!!!

kindly look up the word GENOCIDE. i think shows that make light of his name should be changed he is the face of pure evil on this planet and it is offensive that the lead of this show or any character on tv should be remotely associated with the name "hitler"

I m glad Hitler Didi is popular due to positivity , people are here having discussion abt the title 😆rather than contents of the show , Let zee decide what is wrong n what is right..

I wish to see these people discussing one day on other topics like crap shows on TV , dragging the stories, non taltented actors , using fowl language etc rather than title 😆..

But why an earth people should not watch good & qaulity show like Hitler Didi rather than watching crap n untolerable shows on SP, s1😆

Nam main kya rakha hai.. kam dekhna chahiye .Show ka content dekho rather than cribbing on the title😆 we will watch chahe kuch bhee naam ho.

Hitler Didi is the best example bcs this show connects to real people, real life

I only shared the article i found it on the web but i agree also 😃 ...

It will be very difficult for the channel to ignore this.ADL is a world wide organisation.They never bother about daily soaps but they have taken time to call zee and speak about this matter means things shouldn't be taken that easily.

If HD is telecasted in India only,then channel and Ph can ignore the objection of the title change.But this show is telecasted abraod in US and European states and those people can't take HITLER in a casual sense .They maynot tolerate for their feelings offended,atleast not the organisations and governments there.

What if they take the action against this show if the title is not changed?the ultimate loser will be the channel and PH.Because one of my fb friend who stays in philipinnes said that if this is not a easy issue,if no response from zee side then action may be action against this show.Why to invite such problems?

I really don't wish something like that on rati show.I want this show to be successful.

So my POV is channel should reconsider the title for the sake of diverse audience.

Secondly in that article , it says ... If the Jews had their way The Passion of the Christ , the most controverisal movie would not have been shown in theatres worldwide including USA,WHY DID NOT THEY OBJECT 😆

Thirdly .. Zee is a responsible channel n would not do anything to hurt someones emotions.. But koi kuch bhee demand kare n we shud accept it easly than this is not fair.. ADL did not object anything when The passion of christ released worldwide including USA ,( that was most objectional movie abt jews culture, religion, history etc etc ) n now they r objecting over the title which has nothing to do Hitler & jews people their culture n religion..😆

If there is logic n protest is reasonable than channel will definetly take an action .. So do not worry about Channel n RAti show .. they will do their job n keep their audience happy as well as ADL

hmmm all the points the article ( and by extension you ) are very much valid. But at the end of the day, do they matter. I think not. We are talking abt a man who killed millions ( that's right millions) of ppl. Forget who they are or their religion for a minute. As a fellow human acknowledge the enormity of the holocaust. On a political level, yes there is the right to freedom of speech and you ( and cv's) by all means can speak what ever you want. But I think there is a deeper lesson to be learnt here ,one that shouldn't petified or insulted by quoting examples. I urge you to reconsider your thoughts. Yes we know many people insult the Hindus Muslims etc and the freedom of speech is everybody's excuse. By saying and quoting these examples we are only lowering ourselves to level of those twisted people who enjoy hurting and insulting others. I am not a Jew nor am I propagating their views and I am not asking the show to change the title. I am merely requisting you all to reconsider your views. And of course I aplogize if I have offended anybody.
