I don't trust Ekta

Guys, I'm getting very depressed - mujhe Ekta pe bharosa nahin hai

I know they need to carry on the story and there is more interest when characters have troubles but there must be a basic characterisation which must be honoured through out a serial. Look at what they did to Kripa in Kaisa ye pyar hai - finally no one had any respect for the character.

Unfortunately Ekta never understands the difference between twists in the story and ruining characters just to carry the story forward. If she spoils Jai's character, makes him a weak chap who veers from one woman to the other, I don't think I want to watch KS. Ekta has done this many times in the past.

I feel there should be some integrity in a lead character - true love means something special and a serial's characters should have some strong values. Its only then that we identify with them and love them so much.
If you run out of story, just end the serial and we will carry happy memories of it. But don't ruin characters just to prolong your serial. What do you say?

same i am so sick of serials ugh and if she takes this one good serial away from me ill be so angry! i mean i like the way Jai was portrayed like way before in the show, now i dont like it as much but i think hes still good, i want him to become like more clear about his feelings and i dont want him to succumb to roshini's pressure! dude i soo agree ekta has a knack of screwing things up! all her shows have great starts and craptacular endings lol

I agree with you soapbubble - every soap usually has one mainstay couple thats solid throughtout the trials and tribulations put in front of them I have seen that in some of ekta's serials as well such as Parvati and Om in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Tulsi and Mihir in Kyunki. I hope she will hold true for Jai and Bani!!!!

i agree too. ekta has ruined several characters. i hope this doesn't turn out to be like KAHIN TO HOGA. sujal getting married several times but heart lies with kashish.

Great point! I agree, in fact ALL shows start with really well defined characters, but along the way they get lost and especially the lead ones often start portraying all traits, evil, kind, strong weak all rolled into one

You are right, I know I dont want Raam's personality to change.
But Ekta you never know..............
As long as the maximum footage remains on Raam and Praachi and they remain true to their orginal character description we shudnt complain

i so agree!!! She has the habbit of bringing up our hopes then depresses us!!!! 😡
But saying that maybe that to obvious and she might jut suprise us!!! 😉

Me 2! I Just cant stand her now!!! 😡 but if u fink about it, if it wasnt 4 her we wudnt have this amazing drama in the first place 😕

To tell the truth..i never trusted ekta, the way she spoils the character identity, and keeps prolonging the serial. Thus i stopped watching these serials. But KS is so special and different, it caught my attention,.....i am OBSESSED with KS. But once again ekta proved that she cannot keep a simple love story straight.

i was really hoping that she would keep KS short, simple & straight. Too many EX'S and twists are ruining the romantic nature of KS.
I will stop watching KS if ekta ruins J&B realtion.

I agree there was only 1 serial she didnt ruin the characters was Parvati and Om in Kahaani Ghar ghar Ki........In that Om was off excellent character never did any hanky panky, was a good son, excellent husband and a very supportive father.
By far the best male character to date that Ekta never ruined. And that was one of the best serial.
Mihir was another but he messed up once when he lost his memory but other than that he was a devoted husband. Thats why these serials do so well.
Ekta should know that and not ruin things for this serial...if thought well she can make kasamh se also continue for years instead have the trp drop so badly.
And introducing more wierder character to ruin the serial is not the answer to make this serial interesting....she should know we dont suffer from amnesia after an episode. Misleading us will only make us lose interest in the serial.
I dont if anyone else has made this observation but I have watched most of ekta serials and I think other than Kyunki, kasauti and kahani none of the serials met up with the standards of ekta's these initial serials.
