Well here's something... u can try thinking along these lines, 😉 😉 (Pretty lame, but u gota learn NOT to expect much wen watching and Ekta soap 😛 🤢)

Its not as if he didn exactly recognise her! He did right? So mayb he mightav forgotten about the pic in his locker and photo hanging in the house. Hence explains those dialogues he gave! 😉
