Sonia rubbed Kriya's arm for comfort. "You okay na?" Kriya smiled at her concern and nodded. Kriya asked, "What will happen now?"

Sonia replied, "Silly, of course you're getting in."

Kriya scoffed. "Huh, I doubt. Just having one wave isn't enough. I'm'"

Sonia interrupted, "Don't stress yourself. From what I know, he knows the difference between professional and personal. He won't let it interfere with the decision. You're a brilliant dancer and he will have to let you in. so stop worrying."

She replied thoughtfully, "Ya'maybe you're right."

Sonia confirmed, "I'm always right. Now let's get you out of here before you go in depression mode and pull me in too." She got up chuckling at her own comment and pulled Kriya up as well. She whined, "Is it necessary?"

Sonia gave her a fake angry look while saying, "Yes it is. Now keep moving." She pushed her out keeping her shoulders around Kriya. As they came out, they looked around till they found Rose. They came to her and she asked, "Hey gals. I thought you both said you weren't coming." She took a seat on one of the tables and the other too pulled up chairs as well.

Sonia replied sitting down, "You see Kriya gives a boring company. So I had to pull myself out." Kriya gasped dramatically as rose stifled a laugh by munching on the chip. Kriya's gasp turned into a deathly look, Sonia continued, "Ok ok. You know I'm kidding."

They sat there and chatted until the others saw them having fun, giving each other high-five's and pulling jokes at each other. They realized the fun they were missing out on and thus decided to join them. Gradually, they all started talking at once but still having the capability to understand everyone's talks and none cared who will get in and who won't.

Rey complained, "Ugh! I never thought short listing it would be so hard! If I knew, I wouldn't have agreed to be the judge."

Vaibhavi laughed. "You're going to have to do more tough decision later on. This is just the auditions!" She pulled him up as he slouched in his chair. He resisted and whined, "I'm dead!" He laid his head on his hands which were on the table she pulled him up again and said sternly, "Back to work."

He joked, "Aye aye captian." Both giggled as they resumed watching the performances and pointed out different things here and there and talked about them. Sometimes agreeing and sometimes not but eventually coming to an agreement. When Kriya's performance played, he avoided looking into her eyes. He had always been able to read them no matter what the situation is. But this time, he knew he would only see pain and thus avoided.

*FLASH BACK*

It was a normal day and Kriya was packing her bag to leave for house. The group had accepted her well and there were no problems between anyone. All of them were rehearsing hard for the footloose competition. They had several outings together and all was well. They had just given the semester exams and were now free of tension for quite some time.

Even Rey and Kriya had become good friends and had shared a few moments that are not normal for 'just friends.' But there was a long time to go before they realized that sometimes, the feeling that they felt is popularly known as love.

Rey walked up to her drinking from his bottle and asked, "Hey, going home already?"

Kriya looked at him as if he was crazy. Already! She replied, "What do you mean by already? If you realize, it's really late and if I don't go home now, mom will get worried."

Rey understood what she was talking about. "Oh! Then let me drop you. You'll reach faster since you walk home. Cars are faster you know."

Kriya walked away from him looking here and there to find an excuse. I can't let him see where I live! Rey disturbed her process of thinking as he walked up to her. "What happened? Let's go?"

She said fumbling at times, "Rey' I was thinking' Why do you bother? I'll go na. It's not far and I'm used to walking. Ok chalo. I'm leaving."

She grabbed a bag in hurry and in hope that she will leave and escape before he stops her. But he was fast. He stopped her by pulling her back holding her elbow and repeated, "I'm telling you na. It'll be faster. And I'm not going to eat you alive if you sit in my car!"

She mumbled under her breath, "Rey, why don't you understand!" Rey asked, "What?" She covered up saying, "Nothing. I know you won't eat me. But there's no need. Why do you take the trouble? I'll go na."

Rey asked himself, "What is she trying to hide?" he wasn't the one to give up easily. He said in a determined tone, "Alright Kriya. If you're adamant, then I am too. I'll see what your secret is and then there'll be nothing to hide. Once and for all."

He let her go. He quietly followed her. It wasn't possible to follow her in his car as she was walked. He decided to walk too but making sure she didn't suspect anything. After following for around five minutes, Kriya stopped and he hid himself behind a tree and peeped out. He saw her looking here and there and she continued. Around the corner, there was a car waiting. Looking around once more, she walked up to the car and sat in the back. The car pulled away and Rey came out.

"Damit." He missed it. But then he ran back to the school and got in his car saying, "It wasn't a long walk. I'll catch the car if I drive fast."

He came to the street where she sat and the car went away. He followed and eventually, found the car turning into a driveway. He said to himself, "Hmm! Weird how there's only this big mansion in middle of nowhere." She got out of the car after the driver opened the door. She grabbed her belongings and went in the house.

Rey was quite surprised. He waited there for a while hoping this wasn't her house and that she was just visiting someone on the way home. "But why would she sit in the car then if she was just visiting? And it's been ten minutes she hasn't come out. I hope everything's alright."

He got out of the car thinking what he can do next.

*FLASH BACK ENDS*

Vaibhavi's question brought him back to present. "So?" He repeated the question as he didn't know what exactly she was asking.

Vaibhavi repeated, "Arey what about her? You know I've already given her a green wave. What do you say?"

Rey replied, "Green without doubt. There has to be no second thought." He spoke from heart. But if Kriya had heard that, she would have thought otherwise.

Vaibhavi gave a surprised look. "Really?!" Rey continued, "Yes of course! How can I let such a talent go to waste? She's in." he was reminded of the time Sharon had brought her in the group for the first time. She had said a line similar to the one he just spoke.

Vaibhavi: "Right. Let's look at the last one'"
