Surpriya's 50- 50 Zindagi
Television actress Supriya Kumari will debut on the silver screen. The actress who has played small, but pivotal roles in TV shows like 'Bairi Piya', 'Laughter Ke Phatke', 'Kitchen Champion 2'has replaced former beauty queen Sayali Bhagat and actress Neetu Chandra to bag the lead role in 'Zindagi 50- 50'. Confirms a source, " Supriya has signed 'Zindagi 50 50'as one of the lead actress. The movie is a female- centric film.
And while director Rajiv Ruia had already signed actresses Sayali and Neetu for the film, while shooting he realised that they did not fit their characters. It was Supriya who grabbed the attention of Rajiv. After seeing her act in the serial, Rajiv approached her and the deal was finalised." Supriya will now join the other two leads, Riya Sen and controversy queen Veena Malik for the film. Speaking about Supriya's character the source adds, " She will be playing the character of a poor housewife opposite Rajan Varma. Its a dark movie with some really bold scenes." Supriya's shooting will begin in January.
