Anyways, Tinu i lubb the thingi so much that iv put it into my siggy. 😉 (after ur permission ofcourse) 😛
As far as the topic goes, i think that to some point text talk is tolerable, but when people use too much of it, it honestly does get on my nerves 😕

I dont think that kind of language is right.I used to type like this:

Tahmina says:So...sup?R u wid me or n?

I like talking literate. Its better. When I used to chat like that, I always used to write like that at school too because I had gotten into the habit. But, I realised that what I was doing was not right, so I starting talking literate. Its better.I went on this forum, and if people didnt talk literate, the members would flame/bash them and call them a nube😆

I think its better to talk literate rather than slang.

I had a friend and he was from the UK and he used to talk slang, write slang, type slang, ufff it was so annoying. He still does. Its so annoying.

Its better tchatting literate.

haha nice topic

i actually use the msn lang alot, as u can see but well my english is still quite good and i write some of the best essays in the level. everything was alright till one day i realised the effects of msn. i used abbriviations like abt (about) in the essays more than once 😳 😳 😳 so yeah, well i support the ood english campaign too... especially spoken! and well written too 😳 😳 though i'm too lazy to change my msn slang 😳 😆 😆

I guess its ok if folks are using stuff like "u" instead of you and "r" instead of are etc....only thing is it should be comprehensible to the average reader....and should come off as an alien tongue 😃
