Green House
All the Saxes apart from Arushi and Tamtam are getting ready to attend Samar Birthday Party. [why or why do they attend each and every party that the Takurs give???]..Anyhow, Dadi is curious to know where Arushi is as she has not returned home since morning. TamTam enters the Green House and enquires as to why all of them are standing like statues..Komal tells Tamtam that she is glad that Tamtam has come or otherwise she would have missed her nephew's birthday party..Tamtam is quick to notice that Arushi is absent from the family picture and asks about Arushi's whereabouts..
Komal does not leave any stone unturned to spice the lives of the Saxes adds her two cents on Arushi and her job interview..Komal's rants make Tamtam uneasy and is trying very hard to hide his insecurities from his adoptive family..Arushi finally makes an appearance and has good news for the family as she has secured herself a job and has brought sweets to celebrate her achievements.. Prof is a beaming father who praises his daughter of achieving the impossible that is, she has secured a job in her first attempt and that too without any work experience.. The Prof gives his blessing s to his daughter..Komal is not pleased with Arushi's new status but is glad that with Arushi's earning, Tamtam and Arushi can share half the expenses of the house..Tamtam is unhappy with the Arushi's new job and Komal's taunts of his incapability to pay the house expenses..
The Saxes are about to leave for the Takur Niwas when Arushi hands a gift for Samar to the Prof to give. Arushi praises Pratigya for her commitment and love towards Samar. The Prof agrees full heartedly to such an assertion and praised Pratigya for being a "good" mom to Samar. .The Saxes take their leave, with only Arushi and Tamtam left behind..Tamtam who had witnessed the gift exchange questions Arushi 's loyalty by accusing her that the gift was brought because Samar is Shakti's son.. Arushi denies the accusation and quite rightly states the fact that Pratigya has raised Samar and the gift is due to Pratigya's upbringing ..Tamtam is not convinced..
Takur Niwas
Takur Niwas is decorated to all its glory for Samar's birthday. Sajjan Singh greets the Prof and they exchange a few pleasantries with each congratulating the other for being dada and nano [grandfather] to Samar. Amma praises Meneka to Komal about her commitment and love towards Samar. Chinky on the other hand, wonders why Samar has no friends at the party and tells Samar not to attend his own party as he will get bored.
Cake Cutting
Meneka is given the orders to cut the cake with Samar whilst Pratigya is sidelined. Krishna who was witnessing all this managed to salvage the situation by making sure that there is a family moment between him, Pratigya and Samar and sharing of cake.
PBJ
The party is in full swing and Sajjan Singh and Shakti are drinking and dancing away to an item number. They seem more interested in enjoying themselves and less interested in it being about Samar's happiness..Pratigya is clearly upset and feeling bad for Samar. She takes Samar from Shakti and informs Sajjan Singh that this is Samar's birthday and no one has thought about his wants and desires. She takes Samar from there and leaves Sajjan Singh fuming
Green House
Tamtam is in romantic mood and has cooked a surprised dinner for Arushi..Arushi is surprised in seeing Tamtam mood swings but is happy to have a loving husband..ARushi and Tamtam share a pizza. Tamtam questions Arushi on her earning and is taken aback when she is earning just 2000 rupees less than him despite him being in the same job for 4 years. His insecurities increases when Arushi talks about her male boss.
Kriya Room
Pratigya is trying to console an inconsolable Samar when Krishna enters the room..He jokingly adds that without him Samar will not feel better. Krishna gives suggestion to cheer Samar up by taking him to watch a cartoon or playing with his mobile..Pratigya has found the perfect solution which will cheer Samar and that is playing snakes and ladders which Samar rejects..Krishna comes up with another plan and makes different moustache sizes and shapes with Pratigya's hair and asks Samar which one he would like when he becomes an adult..Samar teases Krishna by saying Pratigya does not like beards so wont get one..Krishna grabs Samar and starts tickling him which makes Samar laugh. Mission accomplished by Krishna..P looks on in love..
