Called star one - details inside

Hi everyone 🤗

I know we are all fighting very very hard to save the show 😳

It is clear by now that the PH does not care about their own show and came on FB to mock their fans openly yesterday

But time and again the channel is denying that the show is ending. I just called up the Star One office in US and spoke to Mr. Subash Singh. Here is the gist of our conversation

Mr. Singh is the Star One marketing guy in the US and HE HAS NO INTIMATION - I REPEAT- NO INTIMATION THAT GEET IS ENDING. 😕 😕 😕 He was very nice and said that they have received about 36,000 emails asking for Geet not to end in the last 2 months 😲 that they have sent on to the channel. He said that some online sites and FB were reporting that the show was going to be shut down . He has not received any such news 😕. I told him my sole reason for having a dish was to see GHSP and so the same goes for my entire community. I told him we are all crazy Geet fans and would all discontinue our cable if GHSP went off the air. He said he would pass it on. He told me that the channel knew how much of a fan following the show had and was trying to keep it.

Relaunch is this month or next. He also claimed that his understanding was that talks were still on to take both shows to Star Desh. 😕 😕 😕

I know we are getting contradictory stories from all sides. But we have nothing to lose so fight. Getting scared or crying is not going to help solve the problem. So we need to be proactive and let the channel know that we want the show to continue. Use any resources at your disposal to get the message out.

Call the channel, email them, send them messages via FB and use any means of communication to show them that we do not want the show to end. Call SBS, SBB and all these shows because these shows have contacts with the channel.

We did it once, we can do it again. But we need to be united and each one of us needs to do our bit. So come on Geetians - Halla bol - call, email, jo kuch karna hai karo - they will take notice of us if we are united because there is strength in numbers. Even if we go down, we will not go down silently, we will fight and fight till the very end.

I'm certainly with you Jhan...😃 We'll fight till the very end. There's still time. If we collectively fight to make our voice heard something good will definitely come out of it...😃
