Pest PK's torture continues. Irritates tense & busy Dr. Naren - says if Ezhil goes up , Naren will go inside – jail – not Tihar [Adhu unakkupa , not for Naren] , nearby Puzhal. Naren grrr , but maintains silence. PK says he is not joking & reads out supposed to be Ezhil's suicide note – reason for her this cowardly act – shattered due to Rathi/ Naren wedding . PK puts on some more drama with umpteen 'Ifs'– If Ezhil dies , if she has written a suicide note pointing finger at Naren , if Naren goes to jail , if Naren career & future spoilt , if rathi stranded at nadutheru , thus instilling fear in Naren's mind & leaves.

Kasi informs Anand that as per his instruction has finished the job of clearing & disposing the items in Kavitha's house , handed over law books to her junior & donated her dresses to Anadhasram as per their daughter's wish. Hands over Kavi's diary to Anand.

Anand takes the diary to MB & tells it contains some important news pertaining to SN. MB is perplexed. Anand explains kavitha's worry which she has recorded in the diary the day before her death. It is regarding the CC TV footage of Jeevan/ Manasi suicide which went missing & relocated later. Kavitha is of the opinion it must have been handed over to the police by some black sheep from the hospital. Since the case concluded in Rathi's favour , we have forgotten the matter & taken it lightly. This will encourage the black sheep & can cause more harm to SN. So should make efforts to find out the culprit.. MB agrees , feels negligence on their part being the main cause for recent unwanted problems in the hospital , the culprit should be nabbed & punished.

Ezhil's father is very emotional. Dr. Naren consoles him , assures Ezhil will be alright .Rathi comes in to enquire about ezhil's condition. Naren shares his fear with her . If something happens to ezhil ,his position is at peril. PK wants it that way.According to him ezhil might have left a suicide note pointing finger at Naren for her suicide. PK would be the happiest man if ezhil dies. Rathi consoles him .

Konica having her private moment with her mom. With closed eyes Prays before Kavitha's photo asking her to talk to her again. When she opens her eyes , gets an illusion of Kavi sitting before her & talking. Kavitha asks her to pay heed to her dad's & sister's advice & accept the job in SN. Kavitha also tells her that she is & always will be with her. Kavitha teaches metaphysics to Konica . While Konical lives in physical world Kavi lives in subtle physical world , just a noolizhai difference between the two , nobody dies , if you go to the room in upstairs you will not be seen downstairs , that doesn't mean you are not not there , one can see you when one come upstairs. This is the truth .Konica realizes - mom has not died , just changed her form , thanks mom for the fruitful revelation

Ezhil opens her eyes. Dad tells how she is indebted to Naren for her punarjenmam. Outside Naren meets PK. PK all eager to know the bad news. Yes says Naren – bad news not for me but for you. Now it is Naren's turn to use multiple 'Ifs' – if ezhil survives , if the letter goes waste ,if ezhil start leading a happy life ,if ezhil thank Naren for saving her , if PK's plans go down the drain – poda payithyakara.

Psycho goes to ezhil's room. Tells her – you are a total waste – do not know either to live nor die – failed in both. Your letter has gone waste – have disappointed me – anyway better luck next time – this is not for you but for me. Ezhil extends her hand to take back the letter, PK quickly withdraws with a nasty smile. [ sure this man has some heinous plan ]

Update for Mon, Dev 5, 2011:

Periappa hands over Kavitha's diary to Akash, tells him about Kavitha pointing out that the black sheep in the hospital must be found, and this has been forgotten in the happiness over Rathy's name being exonerated. Akash says he had just been released by the terrorists at that time, so he didn't find out who it was. Periappa says he has entrusted this responsibility to Rathy.

Rathy and Naren getting ready for work, in front of the same mirror, Rathy hogging up the space, so Naren pushes her to one side and gets dressed. Naren comes out, his dad talks of Prem bringing Prince to their house, mom talks of how nicely Prince talked to them, not like other MD's (dig at Rathy), and dad says Prince wants to make Naren the MD of Mark Hospital. Naren says if he really wanted to make Naren the MD, he would have talked to Naren directly, there was no need for him to talk to his parents, this is a ruse of Prem's, and not to let him into their house.

Naren tells Rathy about Prince coming with Prem to their house, and they realize that the two have joined forces. Naren's parents are standing outside, and mom is eavesdropping on them. Naren talks of having something on his pen drive, mom wants to know what pen drive is, dad says something which carries information from one place to another, then Naren invites Rathy to go with him to some conference, Rathy says No, she is busy, and mom is shocked that she didn't indulge her husband. Naren and Rathy konjifying for some time.

Konica is agreeable to working in SN, so Anand says he will talk to the MD. After she leaves, Anand says he is worried about her and the way she talks, and Vidya says she spends her time talking to some invisible person, says she is talking to mother. Anand says she is acting like a schizophrenic. Konica comes there, tells them she is going to Amma's room. Anand goes there and listens to her from outside. Konica is sitting on the floor and says, Amma, I have agreed to go and work in SN. She appears to be carrying on a conversation with her mother.

Rathy calls Sathya, tells him about the missing CCTV footage, he says it could only have been Prem who took it, but they have no proof. Rathy wonders if it could have been anyone else, so starts analyzing the case. He says that Anand has no record of who takes the keys from his room.

Akash having breakfast, Devi is serving him. She is angry that he does not share matters with her about the missing tape and Rathy investigating it. She feels it is not an important matter and should be dropped. Akash is sure it is an insider affair, and she says even if they find the person who did it and dismiss him, what is the guarantee that someone else won't do it? Akash is unhappy that she won't tell him how she got the missing tape, she says, you got the ganga jalam, why investigate Gangotri? She says she won't rat on someone who did her a favor, and says he will meet with failure only.

Update for Tues, Dec 6, 2011:

Rathy comes to Anand's office, tells him she is investigating and asks him about the incidents on Sept 13th. She asks him who took the keys from his room, he doesn't remember, so she asks him if anyone out of the normal came and took it. He remembers a nurse, Omana, who came and got it from him. He doesn't remember her returning it to him, but it came back to him. (Very poor organizing here, shouldn't they have a register where people record why they went to that room?)

Next, Rathy interviews Omana, and comes to know that she generally works nights. She says she took the Endowment file because some doctor wanted it and no attender was nearby. When Rathy asks her if she returned the keys, she says she was on her way to return it, but she saw Sebastian, the attender, and asked him to hand it over to Anand.

Rathy asks Dr. Ramachandran if he took the Endowment file, who gave it to him, and he confirms that Omana brought it for him. Rathy asks Sebastian about the keys, but he doesn't remember the date, he does remember that when he went to Anand's room, Prem was there and he took the keys from him. He doesn't know if Prem opened the record room or not. Now Rathy knows that Prem went to Anand's room on Sep 13, took the keys from Sebastian, and so he must have taken the tape. She calls Sathya and asks him to call Prem and send him to her cabin.

Anand wants to know if Konica knows they are going to see a psychiatrist, Vidya says she doesn't know, and Anand says not to tell her. Konica goes to kavitha's room, Vidya suggests they tell Konica the truth, Anand is worried she may refuse to go. Konica goes and tells her mother's picture that she wants her blessings before going. When she goes down, she sees Anand and Vidya, and Anand tells her that they are going to meet a psychiatrist. She wants to know why, why does she need counseling, Vidya says it is because she is imagining her mother's voice. Konica is angry that they have decided that she is crazy, Anand says that is not what they meant, she thinks they lied by saying that she was going there for a job, she ends up screaming that she is not crazy, she can hear her mother's voice in that room, her mother is there in that room, she talks to her, she is not lying, it is the truth. She is angry they don't believe her and says she cannot live without talking to her mother and going to her room. She refuses to go with them.

MB ,Akash and Rathi discussing Prem matter. MB is not happy with Akash / Rathi's hasty decision of charging him without proper evidence. Knowing shrewd PK who is capable of manipulating evidence in the court., they should have taken extra care and collected clinching evidence. MB , then, points out loop holes in SN management – easy access to record room by all and sundry. Akash rudely points out , negligence in the hospital has occurred under MB's chairmanship. MB Quotes JFK – 'success has many fathers , but failure is an orphan, nobody owns it'. . Then they discuss about future course of action in cc TV matter. All feel PK should not be let scot free , should be taught a lesson . MB asks Rathi to call an emergency board meeting and place the agenda before the members.

Konica and her mom having heart to heart conversation. Konica tells about her refusal to go to SN as the appointment was with a psychiatrist and not for a job. Konica is upset as dad and sister consider her having some psychological problem. Some mel ulagam keezh ulagam talks between mom and daughter. Kavitha then asks Konica to meet her client and social worker Vijayaraghavan .

Board room. All members present except PK. As usual PK comes late and apologises giving an inane excuse. MB explains the reason for the emergency meeting – Jeevan' manasi suicide , cc TV footage lost and found episode , MD conducting an enquiry with the staff and finally identifying the culprit , who is one of their directors , name Premkumar. One of the directors asks what motive has PK to steal the footage? . Naren says personal vendetta – Prem was in love with Rathi and wanted to marry her. But when Rathi disagreed he wanted to avenge her. Prem agrees – he did love Rathi and wanted to marry her and indeed was upset when she married Naren. Says his modus operandi of avenging is different – 'Inna sedharai oruthal avar nana nannayam seidhu vidal ' - Jesus Christ formula - show the other cheek when one slaps . Stooping low as to steal the tape to avenge is not his cup of tea.

Akash opens his mouth , accuses PK of searching record room key in Anand's room when Anand was away – Sebastian's statement. PK counters – true when Sebastian came he was in Anand'd room , not for the key but for his personal file which he had asked Anand earlier. Anand confirms. Further PK points out the key was with so many people on that particular day, with nurse , with Sebastian and even with Anand , any one could be the culprit. How can they pin point him .Now PK raises his voice and points out one important matter which chairman , MD , CFO have failed to mention- how the stolen tape found its way back and saved the MD from kambi counting – because one important member of MB family pleaded and begged to him to save SN from disgrace and that person is none other than CFO's wife Devi Prasad. 10 crores did the job , got the tape back from the culprit - the police and gave it to GDP . PK continues , for this fete he deserves felicitation and not thiruttu pattam. Few directors are floored by his rhetoric , says he is innocent and should be felicitated for his commendable work. Prem has won the battle , gives a wily look at Rathi [ eppdi mooka odaichen paarthaya look]

Akash pacing the floor with flashes of PK's rhetoric disturbing him , unable to digest the fact Devi pleaded with Prem for the tape , upset, Devi hid the truth from him. Devi's argument that PK is unnecessarily dragging her name in the issue & trying to sow the suspicion seeds in to Akash's mind holds no water. Insists that Prem did not play any part in getting back the tape. To shield himself PK has dropped this atom bomb in the board meeting. PK vaya thorandha lie thavira verondrum varadhu. However Akash is not convinced. Akash asks Devi to reveal the person who helped her. Devi refuses to divulge the name. Upset Akash says – the saying goes , life should be an open book between husband & wife , but our life is full of secrets & mysteries , one thing is confirmed , there are more Premkumars in your life. Shocked & worried Devi mutters – Shambo , Siva Shambo.

Anand & Vidhya talk it over with Konica about her illusion . Her constant odd behaviour ,talking to mom ,all show streak of abnormality in her. Konica doesn't want to accept . Further informs them that Kavitha has asked her to meet one Vijayaraghavan , a social worker . Vidhya is worried , Anand terms it as hallucination , next stage of mental disorder , obstinacy to prove that one is right , go to any extent to prove it , Vijayaraghavan could be an imaginary character. Worried Vidhys decides to accompany her to the person's address.

Vijima starts labour pain. Daughter & SIL have gone for a wedding. Viji is not able to reach them , Experienced maternity nurse , immediately takes the right action , calls SN & asks for the ambulance.

Sorga Vasal opening madhiri three doors open one after another. Shambo Siva Shambo chanting in the air. Shyamala was the first to greet this mysterious Shambo , followed by awed MB & finally greeted by happy & relieved Devi. The person is a Swamiji , very popular Swamiji with lot of political clouts.[ akin to political Godman Chandra Swami??] Swamiji seems to be Devi's Guru , philosopher & guide, she is very polite & humble talking to him , Thank him for all his guidance. Now coming to the point , GDP has sought his help to get back the cc tv tape from police custody , lot of money has changed hands. The political godman , of late has come under CBI scanner .Swamiji cautions her , if the secret matter of cc tv changing hands from police to GDP is let out ,he will be caught. As it is police have doubts of him having a hand behind the matter. Swami warns – beware GDP , if I am caught , you too will follow suit. See to it that nobody in SN opens the topic how the tape came to your hand . Advises It is a very sensitive matter , handle with care.

Update for Dec 12, 2011:

Viji has had the baby and is being congratulated by Rathy, who praises her determination and strong will. Vasanthi informs her that it is Viji's birthday, and Rathy wishes her a Happy Birthday. Viji says she is happy that she has the same birthday as her daughter, Vasanthi reminds her that it is her "paethi", Viji says, daughter, Vasanthi again says, "paethi". She smiles. They leave, with the nurse staying behind. Viji talks to the nurse (the one who took the keys from Anand to the record room) and asks her why she seems so tense, how long has she been working here? The nurse says, Five years. Viji asks her if she is from Kerala, which college, she says, Nursing college, Cochin. Viji checks the nurse's pulse, asks her what a normal person's pulse rate should be, an athlete's pulse rate, etc., and the nurse stammers and finally gives the replies, and they are incorrect. Viji tells her she should know all this by now. Is this the next kuzhappam in this story - the nurse will not be a real nurse and will turn out to be PK's appointee?

Akash comes to know about the swami who came to their house to see Devi, apparently he is big in political circles. Shyamala says that Devi spoke to the swamiji, and after that, she has been in the room, did not come for lunch or eat anything. Akash says that the CBI has been having an eye on this swamiji and wonders why Devi did not tell him about this.

Akash goes to Devi's room, she is sitting in a rocker and says she has a headache so doesn't want to go shopping. He says there is a reason for the headache, it is psychosomatic and tells her to share her problems with him, but she says that if some problems are shared, sufferings will increase, and this is one of those. He wants to know why Rudreshwar came there, what is the connection between them, and everyone in the house is wondering about it and waiting for her reply. She says it is her personal affairs, and says she knew him when she was in Delhi. Akash is sarcastic and says she is a big VIP, who will be next to visit her? She says she is not his devotee, she came to know him when she was doing a consultancy in Delhi, and tells Akash not to suspect her and her past is not his concern. He says that her past is troubling him, but she says she needs some time. He asks her who was her contact in getting that CC tape, was it this godman? He says that there are many skeletons in her cupboard, and at this rate, their marriage will end in the court, and it is up to her to tell him the truth, if she wants to.

Rathy meets Ezhil and tells her that what she felt for Naren was infatuation, not love, Naren has loved only Rathy. She says that infatuation is something that happens to teenagers and since Ezhil is 25 years old (all these people in ALL the serials are ALWAYS stuck at the age of 25 - what a coincidence!), she needs some treatment. Then Rathy tells her the treatment, which was thankfully spelled out on the screen and not spoken aloud, because I cringed to read it - Rathy tells her that she wanted Naren's body, she was in love with his body which is infatuation, so the treatment is that she should spend some time with his body and Rathy herself will see to it that this happens - yuck! This is so off color and tasteless that I am disgusted at the thought! How can they put this on a show at prime time? Ezhil breaks down and Rathy comforts her.

This may be an intelligent serial, but this was not the way to make it appear to be an intelligent serial. Sorry, Mr. KB, but this is my opinion!

Update for Tues, Dec 13, 2011:

Konica and Vidya are looking for the right house, they find the house and knock. It is opened by someone, he asks who they are, they ask him if he knows Kavitha, he says Yes, and praises her. They say they are Kavitha's daughters, he welcomes them inside and offers them tea. It seems Kavitha used to drink tea before going to court. While they are drinking tea, he gets a call from someone and it looks like he is looking for someone who knows Visual communications. Now Konica is convinced that her amma has sent her to get a good project from Vijayaraghavan, and Vidya is sort of convinced that she has been talking to her amma.

Viji comes home with the baby, Vasanthi is about to do arathi, Viji tells her that it is her baby, and she does the arathi for Vasanthi. Later Vasanthi says her mother has done her a big favor and asks what she wants in return, sari, necklace? Viji says, avvalavu thaana? Then Viji says she wants a hundred kisses, and just as Vasanthi goes to kiss her, baby wakes up and cries, so Viji tells her to go and attend to the baby instead.

Kasi is waiting to see Akash. He walks around and sees a patient asking for a bed pan, and asking for Visalam to bring it. He is shocked to see that it is his sister, Visalam. He asks her why she is doing this, she says she is doing this to make sure that his and his wife's maanam will not fly any more. He apologizes for what they said to her, she says they were right and she should not have used his name to get free treatment. She left his house that day, saw Anand, told him she wanted to repay them for the treatment they gave her husband, and Akash says to Kasi that he did that to make her happy, SN doesn't just treat the body, but the mind also, and now she is happy.

Devi reminds Akash about their cinema program, Shyamala also wants to go, Sandhya asks her why she wants to go with the sinnansirisugaL, Periappa tells her to go without turning around because he has spondylitis. Devi invites Sandhya also, she says why don't you take Rathy and Naren? Talk now turns to R and N, how they are always in the hospital, doing day and night shift alternately, so they spend very little time together. Sandhya is concerned.

Finally, Devi comes up with a plan to send R and N on a honeymoon - to Fiji islands. Periappa agrees to make them both take a two week vacation. (Devi is wearing a very pretty sari in this scene). Sandhya and Shyamala wonder if they can make R and N agree to this.

Naren and Rathy are having coffee, N says Ezhil has changed after talking to Rathy and says that her love was actually infatuation. Rathy wonders what else Ezhil has told him and sends him an SMS telling him what she told Ezhil. Naren tells her that her suggestion is obscene, but Rathy says she made a genuine suggestion, and he asks her if she would say the same thing if E has said Yes to her suggestion. Then he tells Rathy about Akash sending them to Fiji islands. Then he comes up with a joke, which I thought was off-color so I am not writing it here. (Her suggestion yesterday to Ezhil was off-color too, and I am disappointed, Mr. KB)

Akash & MB discuss the arrangements made for the couple's honeymoon trip as well as SN administration during MD's absence. Akash confirms everything is prim & proper. This news travels thru wind , no no , thru hospital file gaps & reaches our psycho's ears. PK's madness head aering –dirty mind works over time , shares his wishful thoughts with friend Mr. Ilavarasan [ Prince ] – suppose the couple's car breaks down on the way to the airport , suppose they reach the airport late .Remote chance quips Prince. PK's tummy burns as he visualizes Rathi leaning on Naren's shoulder listening to music , couple hand in hand walk on the beach , & his wicked mind wishes for the plane crash & the honeymoon couple land directly in Sorgam. [PK overdoes it]. Prince finally reminds PK that his RB can become Naren's wife but Naren's RB can never become his [PK's]. PK prays that the flight should be hijacked – feels will happen surely – kettadhe ninaicha kettadhe nadakkum. Sensing PK's imaginations crossing the limits Prince suggests Tarot reading to calm down his nerves & the Tarot card reads out a favourable message.

Kasi gets SN canteen contract. Chatter box Kasi thona thonanu torturing Akash. Akash gives certain instructions one of them being not to talk more than 3 words in a day. Each extra word Rs. 5oo fine.

Viji calls SN & informs about her readiness to join duty earlier. Daughter is not amused at the idea , says she cannot leave her job , nor can leave the baby at crche or with ayahs , so asks mother to leave the job. Viji is not willing , daughter resorts to emotional black mailing .

Naren /Rathi busy packing for the trip. Naren is fed up of seeing Rathi in sarees . So vidha vidhama modern dresses pottu pondatiya azhagu parking. In another room Naren's mom emotionally disturbed – sona vittu 15 days pirinju irukkaNumenu . Prays for their safe journey & quick return. Screen splits with Naren mom praying & PK/ Prince revelling over their favourable Tarot message
