Mystery of Park Road and Bani's Mother!

It is confirmed from a news article that Kiran Singhani died 7 years ago...the same day when the accident on Park Road happened!

No one knows the exact cause of Kiran Singhania's death.....although it seems strange, because Bani would have been around 15 or 16 years old then and it is highly unlikely that an intelligent girl like her would be clueless about her Mother's death.

But leaving that fact aside, I think that Park Road is surely connected to Kiran Singhania's death! Wonder what on earth was she doing in Mumbai at that time!😕

Bani remembers vaguely about her Mother's death and in of the episodes tells Pia and Rano that their Father had done his best to save their Mother and she did not die of negligence.

I know it is futile compounding theory after theory, but as we are getting closer, I think the following could be somewhat close to what happened.

Kiran must have come to Mumbai for some work, probably to meet someone, maybe Jai himself and then an accident would have happened, seriously injuring her. The Mechanic would have been the witness and Jai and Roshni would have given him lots of money to keep shut.

Jai would have somehow managed to transport Kiran back to Mount Abu, where she would have died. Either Nishikant would have come to know of the real cause of her death or Jai would have blurted out the truth to her in desperation and given him loads of money to keep quiet.

Nishikant would have been tempted and taken the money, but the guilt of selling out on the death of his wife would have continued haunting him for the rest of his life. Nishikant would have made Jai promise that if something happens to him, he would take care of his three daughters, which Jai eventually did!

But if the above is the case, then how come;

The date 29th June, 7 years back does not register anything in Bani's mind? Bani would have been 15 - 16 years old at that time, an age where you can more than make-out what is happening around you!😕

Secondly, when the three sisters came to Mumbai, Jai's reaction was pretty normal, especially when he speaks to Aditya regarding them. The only time he looked worried was when Tony hands over the letter written by Nishikant to Jai when the three sisters come to his house! Strange...If Jai had indeed kept such a huge guilt in his heart, why absolutely no signs of recognition or terror?

One reasoning could be that Nishikant would have withheld the exact reason for Kiran Singhania's death from his children and hence Bani is not sure how her Mother died.....all she knew was that she was hospitalized and her Father took care of her till the last minute she breathed!

Whatever is the case, I think it is too coincidental that Kiran Singhania died 7 years back and the Park Road accident too happened at the same time!

Poor Bani, if this is true, then she would find it impossible to forgive Jai....even though he wasn't at the wheels, Roshni was....but he was an equal partner in the crime!

i too was thinking along the same lines. i mentioned this very possibility in another post. and like you, i too have the same doubt: if bani was 16, then why does she not remember details of her mothers death? in one of the episodes, we saw that jai had a guilty look on his face, why wasnt there any guilt on his face and in his attitude when the dixit sisters arrived for the first time? if his is really as guilty as the show is making him seem, then how could he have ever treated bani so harshly in the beginning? if he is indeed partly responsible for her mothers death, then what pia did to him would only offset, not even completely, what he did to Banis mother...

and why does he never mention the consequence of the disclosure of this secret on bani's sisters? why do jai and roshni always talk in reference to Bani?

i think that bani's mom's death n the accident are definately related... but wat i also feel is that there is something related to bani's identity... i mean if its their mom's death all 3 sisters wud be equally affected... but so far its been shown to have a strongest connection with bani...
i know she's jai's wife (whom he's falling in love with...) but had it been the 3 sister's mom ... wud'nt he be guilty or scared or whatever when he approached pia for marriage....
i know its roshni's coming back that brought up this issue into jai's life... but the guilt of murder (even if it was an accident...) can't be suppressed...

another thing is that jai doesn't want bani to know the secret... there is far too much emphasis n effort on his part to hide the facts from HER...

Yup....i think you are right. But how the mothers surname is different 'Singhania' and not 'Dixit'. Cant wait to see KS.

i am 😕 totally just try n measure my confusion it has no end 😭 gosh as i have said numerous times regarding this mystery i am clueless though i feel the same but i once thought rosh might turn to be bani's aunt 😆 as she knows abt the sugary thing but one thing is for sure i will surely land up at mental asylum if ekta keeps stretching this for more than one month from now 😃

I too believe that the Park Road incident and Bani's mom's death is connected. I think the vagueness of the issue (why Jai did not feel guilty when he first saw the Dixit sisters, why did he propose marriage to Pia, etc) can be contributed to poor script and seems like this Raaz is a hastily put together peice of twist in the storyline. It bothers me that the writers do not pay attention to these glaring mistakes when they have people from across the globe tuning in to watch the show and spend substantial amount of their time and energy (see it is 2am where I live🥱) trying to predict what will happen next😉. Some bloopers are inevitable, but things like these just suck. But my rant apart, I still love watching KS and our yummy Jai Walia.

Whatever happened on Park Road - the case did go to criminal court as we know about this because Jai was scared to death when he heard the name of the judge for their divorce hearing and almost ran out of there.

So there was a legal angle to it. Of cours Nishikant could have accepted lots of money to take the case back from court.😕 Also there is the diabetic angle so she could have been seriously injured and gone into some kind of diabetic coma before she died. And maybe Nishikant is not Bani's biological father.

Anyways, we shall know soon......................

Well, Looks that way. But like you said, why so much emphasis on Bani finding out. Perhaps bec he loves her now so he doesn't want her to get hurt. This cropped up ever since Roshni entered the picture. In either case it was an accident, Dark rainy nite. Accidents happen. surely Bani will understand that. ok she will be upset her father didn't tell her the truth regarding her mum's death. The case must have come to court or how else would he know Judge PM sandhu? But I can't understand why roshni says Toofan aajayega. Roshni suffered spinal injuries and Roshni and Jai didn't marry bec of it. Has to be something more to this than meets the eye. Maybe Jai was with Kiran, Roshni was following them suspecting him of two timing her and she rammed into his car killing Kiran. Anyways got to be more than just an accident. My head is in circles regarding this raaz.
But I so want Jai to tell Bani he loves her before this raaz opens up. Maybe we will have another Saath Phere drama. 😭

I dont want to speculate on the raaz ...but one thing is for sure, when Ekta starts her serial she doesnt have a complete story in mind and that is why she comes up with some situations which are hard to digest but she cares two hoots coz we, the audience, lap up whatever she serves... 😉
