A cat and mouse game is only fun when both sides are equally matched.

It helps create a game of one-upmanship with both parties trying to out do the other and coming up with schemes to outsmart the other. 👍🏼 If that is the case there is a lot of the suspense element because at every turn we are left guessing who would win - would it be there hero or the villain. This why we enjoy a battle between two evenly matched adversaries. 👍🏼

But right now I do not see them as being evenly matched. 👎🏼 They are showing MSK as an idiot and I take offense to this. 😡 Mr. Pandey had always hated the character of MSK probably because he lacks the depth to write such a complex and interesting character. The MSK we all fell in love with was very intelligent, crafty and ready to take calculated risks. That is unfortunately NOT what we are seeing here. Vikram is winning over MSK over and over again. We need MSK to win some in order for the game to remain interesting. 😳

Let me give you an example - would you enjoy a one-sided cricket match? A lot of people would probably turn off the TV or watch something else once you know one team is going to win. It is simply human nature that when one knows the outcome, one is less interested. Contrast that with a nail biting finish where everything comes down to the last ball of the innings. The fortunes of both teams have turned over and over again and now the match could go any way. 😆 😆 😆That builds a tension that people relish leading to them watching the match till the very end without even blinking 😆 😆 😆 This is the kind of element you need to introduce in GHSP 😉

You are doing very well so far showcasing the drama but Maan also needs to score a few points so that the viewer remains entertained and moreover hooked to the show. ⭐️ The problem with GHSP is that tracks always start well but after a while laziness and nonchalance on part of the writers have led to the downfall of the track. 👎🏼 It happened with the Amritsar track and the ML track because circus was given more importance than a storyline. You have a great thing going. Please do not destroy it. with incompetent writing 😭

Another thing to remember is that drama is good but if you show drama and nothing else, the audience will get bored eventually. We need some fun filled moments, some romantic moments (not passionate just romantic) and we need some sane sensible comedy 👍🏼 that does not involve forgetfulness, drinking, eating or weight loss. 👎🏼

I think showing Nano is immature and selfish is a great track but it should end with a lesson. 😳

I have 3 take home messages for the GHSP makers today
1) Do justice to the character of Maan and Geet. Maan is intelligent and therefore he needs to win a few rounds. ALSO THIS IS NECESSARY TO KEEP THE INTEREST OF THE VIEWERS ALIVE.
2) Mix up the drama with romance and SANE comedy (no Devini romance please 🤢)
3) The track is going great. Please do not screw it up.

My Views on New Promo

Promo is damn interesting from symbolic POV 👍🏼 ..it shows Geet will b trapped in Vikram's evil plan ...she is wearing Green which also indicates separation and so that might prove kidnapping as well but Maan will make sure vikram does not succeed since he breaks the mirror carrying Vikram's reflection which indicates that enough of illusions, its now time for reality and direct face to face confrontation 😃 ..

The promo also indicates death from Vikram's POV since Maan and Geet both r standing in dark all flustered while Vikram is the one hving the last laugh ...And this reminds me of Kumkum serial where Kumkum was kidnapped in same way by her obsessed lover but then Sumit manages to free her from that guy's trap and then both run for their life in the jungle and eventually gets killed and then RC track 🤔

I also loved whole lighting of the promo with MSK in dark which indicates his confusion whether to attack Vikram or protect Geet ,then Geet in a ray of light which indicates she will b showing the light to MSK in the dark tunnel since she finally realised Vikram's true colours after meeting him 😃, then Vikram in mirror reflection which indicates that Vikram is still out of Maaneet's reach 🤔 ...

All in all the promo once again raises lots and lots of possibilities 😛..But its high time the game becomes balanced and even MSK outsmarts Vikram at times so that it does not look like a one-sided match 😊

Episode Analysis

Today was a real Gut-wrenching dramatic episode with Geet taking the second most big controvertial decision of her life after the holi fiasco 😊...

Once again Geet takes a very debatable decision of meeting the stalker without letting MSK know about it ...Last time during holi fiasco her forgiveness to Dev resulted in Maaneet MU and separation even though Geet did it for the betterment of Maan 😭 ..today once again she goes to meet the stranger for the betterment of Maan and her family ..will this result in another set of MU and separation ?? 🤔 ..

I guess the reply is given by MSK himself in the episode today when Geet asked about it and MSK's reply was "Sach..jhooth...sahee...galat...everything is meaningless from where Maaneet's relationship begins because he will be standing in her support till death"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ...this dialogue nails it that Maaneet can never separate now irrespective of all the hurdles they face from here on..Geet might not tell MSK that she is going to meet Vikram but she makes sure that she takes MSK's trust into confidence before taking this big decision of her life 👍🏼 ..So indirectly she does tell MSK that she will b taking some decision without telling him but it will b for the betterment of their family 😊 ...I must say Barry did a amazing job with MSK's dialogues here 👏👏..GC was flawless with his voice modulation in this scene while delivering this all important dialogue and DD was perfect with her expressions of concern for MSK 👏👏

I found even the coffee scene symbolic today with Geet adding too much of sugar in MSK's coffee by mistake since she was lost in some other thoughts ,but MSK decides to drink that sweet coffee only becuase he knows that nothing can go wrong from Geet's hand 👍🏼 ;This scene indicates that in future even if MSK comes to know that Geet did a blunder without telling him ,still he will try to understand the main motive behind her decision and will support it wholeheartedly 😃...

Whether Vikram will kidnap Geet tomorrow or try to molest her tomorrow and whether MSK will be able to save Geet in time or not remains to b seen but the precap suggests that circumstances will be against Maaneet relationship with Vikram's black shadow on them but Maaneet's trust on each other will overcome this difficult phase 😊/...

Spot on Acting by GC-DD and Vikas 👏👏👏👏

Episode Rating:9/10 :Wonderfully thought provoking episode by the CVs today filled with some terrific dialogues and wonderful symbolisms ..Geet's decision is debatable but creates interest from drama POV 😊

Wonderful opening Jhan!!!👏 And very rightly said...we need to see an Intelligent MSK now...someone who starts to think ahead of Vikram and thwart his sinister plans..we cant see MSK lose all the time MSK is shrewd, intelligent and is way ahead of his distractors...dont make MSK look like a fool...show us his intelligent side. We need a see-saw game here where Vikram has succeeded in winning so many rounds...and now MSK needs to win so it causes frustration in Vikram and he comes back with a vengeance. If we know Vikram is winning all the time, we will lose interest😒

Very very interesting promo!!!! Brilliant, well thought out and conceptualized!! Looking forward to an equally engaging execution and direction... holiday week ka mazaa aa jaayega 😃

Why MSK hasn't had the upperhand till now:

1) Logically speaking its only been 5 days max since MSK has really confronted Vikram physically rather than just through phone conversations. First ever confrontation at Geet's Bday and the chase after which MSK was not able to catch Vikram and was tricked with Vikram's blind act .. Their next few encounters happened over the phone and finally the mudfight where again Vikram's face was not clear and they had only battled it out in that one place again leading to Vikram's victory through cowardice

2) MSK knows very little about Vikram. He only knows his name and where he lives as well as that he is madly obsessed about Geet and will do anything to get her. The man has very little information to work with. Perhaps the Commissioner can do a better job at sending an investigation unit behind this man.

3) Geet has been fearful and shaken the past few days. Ever since he came back he has not been able to relieve Geet of her fears and although she has bouts of happiness she always eventually ends up in a state of trauma or paranoia. This can honestly take a toll on Maan's mental state as well. Seeing your wife so shaken and not her normal bubbly self is probably getting to him emotionally.

4) Vikram has always planned one step ahead and within these 5 days he's given them more than one shock per day. He hasn't given them the chance to sit and think. Yesterday for the first time MSK was mulling over Vikram and who he was. Yet again Vikram comes (shortly after his attempt at murdering Dev/MSK) into KM in a disguise. MSK's preoccupied mind didn't allow him to consider that this electrician could very well be Vikram. And he had no reason to think that a mere electrician, who was there to change a fuse in the fuse room, was going to be Vikram.

5) Last but not the least he is not sharing his queries/fears with Geet -- and neither is Geet. He is only reassuring her that he will get Vikram and that Vikram won't do anything to him -- when that's not the case. Vikram has so far been successful in each attempt of his to rile up Geet and make her paranoid about the notion of Maan dying or being separated from her. This reassurance isn't doing any good for Maaneet because they are always proven wrong the next day.

Bottom line is MSK needs a boost and that may happen if some real danger is imposed on Geet. So far he's come in the nick of time to save her or send Vikram away but when he realizes this man will really take Geet away from him he will spring into action. We all love to see a smart and intelligent MSK and believe you me MSK was pretty quick last night in deciphering the fact that the electrician was indeed Vikram. He took longer to realize who Brij was so I think to be fair he really did use his brains here. His instincts told him it was Vikram and he was proven right. I know many would have a problem seeing MSK losing to Vikram but if we really look at it this is not a fair fight. So we can't exactly say Vikram is winning because a coward doesn't win -- and neither does a man who hides behind disguises and doesn't confront the lion face-to-face. We all saw with the mudfight that if Vikram was to face MSK, MSK would win fair and square. Vikram is only cheating to gain the upperhand. Does that make Vikram a winner? No.

In a war there are battles and sometimes the enemy has to win these battles to make the story move forward. That is what's happening here and I am looking forward to seeing this Clash of the Titans take another route from hereon forward. When Geet comes in the picture it'll take a whole new direction and MSK will certainly show his prowess and defeat Vikram.

I really really wanted a Maaneet conversation before Geet took the naive step of meeting Vikram .. for MAAN'S safety (thankyou Barry for that amazing convo with equally strong dialogues)

That conversation says it all. It not only justifies Geet's actions but also highlights why exactly it is that she went to meet Vikram. We all discussed last night that she only had one thing in mind -- Maan's safety .. she literally forgets all else -- even her OWN safety -- if Maan's safety is on the line. Due to Vikram's threats and later invitation to meet him one last time, Geet takes this drastic step. Shivu said yesterday that she easily fell into his trap because her preoccupied mind and worriment for Maan has led her to believe that she will be able to send Vikram away if she listens to this one plea of his.

Sadly that's not the case I really don't know what Vikram plans on doing to Geet now .. uff Geet realized she made the wrong decision and wanted to leave right away but Vikram won't let her go so easy 😡

Loved the entire convo between Maaneet especially Maan's dialogue that good/evil, right/wrong are words that end where Maaneet's relationship starts -- and that is so true because Maaneet are way beyond that. Their relationship isn't only based on this .. it's based on true love/respect/trust and this is the crux of their relationship. Maan says he trusts her decisions always and knows she will never make a wrong one. He is right because though we know Vikram is luring her in his trap, she is going to him with only one thing in mind -- Maan's safety. Maan unknowingly gave Geet the permission to meet Vikram and I guess he'll realize later why she asked him this question in the morning.

I was so damn glad to see Adi Sir today. I really want him to be involved in this track as much as possible. He is Maan's confidante and he will put his life on the line for them 😳 .. loved that business is as usual for KC as well. And finally Maan making the rational decision of holding meetings at home.

Nando Nando Nando 🤬 I have all the expletives in the world for this selfish, inconsiderate, gold-digger, good-for-nothing BRAT! Even when Lucky tries to reason with her and make her realize all Maaneet have done for her this B**** goes ahead and says Dev means everything to her and she sees nothing beyond him. Last night her dialogue that she "loves Didi and Jijai" left me saying "YA RIIIGHT!" go prove that to an idiot .. not me 😡

Precap is freaky and I really don't know what Vikram will do to Geet.. I swear if he dares to touch Geet na .. 😡

I agree...a balance is needed in the storytelling. Last week Vikram's character was being being established. It was necessary for us to understand his psyche and what lengths he can go to to get Geet so it was perfectly alright to see him winning each time. But now his character profile has been laid down. Its necessary that MSK's character doesn't not suffer at his cost. MSK is a very shrewd man who thinks analytically. Its time he's shown to come up with some strategy to thwart Vikram. Instead of reacting impulsively to Vikram's actions he needs to think of sensible ways to counter him...😃

Regarding parallel track. I liked the way Nandini's behavior was shown yesterday. If explored further it can give rise to an interesting situation. Dev & Nandini's equation can also be explored further by showing these small differences between them. BUT their scenes have to be limited to a few minutes each episode. Please DO NOT make this their story and sideline Maaneet...😳

The promo is interesting but very confusing...😆

Very gripping episode...👏👏 Today was a build up to whatever the promo is hinting at. Its most likely going to be a separation for Maaneet in the form of Vikram kidnapping Geet. But how long is it going to last only time will tell.. 😕

Maan's dialogues were beautiful today. Well done Barry...👏 They clearly indicate that come what may he will never misunderstand Geet. Yes he may get angry with her for putting her life at risk but he will never blame or misunderstand her...😊

Is Geet right in meeting Vikram? Definitely not!! BUT its understandable why she's doing it. She thinks he'll leave them alone once she meets him. She's being very naive but that's Geet. She takes things at face value...

MSK has been clueless so far in regards to his opponent...He is so consumed with worry he is late in connecting dots...What will it take for MSK to be proactive and use intelligent means to nab the guy stalking and terrorizing his Geet ?

The Epi was really good and gripping ..
With Nando's real colors coming out...selfish being...well at least Lucky is shown a bit more sensible...Geet's decision to meet vickam is veryyy dumb , MSK not being able to catch he stalker is more dumb but then if you want Magic (Drama) forget the logic...😆...

so i am Fine with it... As far the story is getting interesting and makes the viewer anxious i am loving it..Keep it up Cvs...and one thing

HOW else can you explain the sheer monumental beauty of dialogues we got today of all days? Uff these are the kind of things that I will remember forever. How beautiful wa that Maaneet scene? I just can't get over the dialogues and the music (which I think is Z and Shivi's favourite, am I right?) and the way he was looking at her and the way she was looking at him. It was like she was reliving their whole story in that one second, remembering all their moments, remembering how wonderful this man really is and how much she loves him and when she stroked his face it reminded me of the morning after the talli scene. How much things have changed since then and how far they have come!

Maan asking for his Geet back reminded me of K3G, where Amitabh Bachan asks for his old Jaya back 🤣 but then I sobered up real quick and was subsequently almost reduced to tears when he said the line about the ghazal. Haii!!! Z, the Urdu, I tell you! It was just a beautiful comparison to say his life with her was like a soulful love song and her laughter the melody and the lyrics. OMG!!!! I DIED!!!

And then it got even better! I loved the half-truth bit because it shows that Geet needs Maan in her life and in her decisions. She really can't hide anything from him and she is desperate to have him in her faith but knows she can't betray the whole truth so she tells him as much as she can and he outdoes himself in the response! BARRY!!!! ❤️

But storywise and characterisation-wise I think this is really interesting because for Maan it has always been easy to say these things, and he does believe them, but when it comes to really facing them sometimes he doesn't work the same way. I wonder what he is going to feel when he connects this conversation to Geet deciding to meet Vikram. Will he feel betrayed because she took advantage of his ignorance to get him to sort of agree? Will he feel guilty that he didn't probe further into her thoughts and why she was asking those questions?

So I think we know beyond a doubt now that Geet has seen Vikram's face. 👍🏼 VS was fabulous today in the tie scene. I love that they brought out how much he knew about Geet and how he was using it against her. He really seemed like a teenager, going out with their crush, with his nervous excitement. I guess in terms of Geet, he has not outgrown that phase as she is still his adolescent crush and he is finally meeting her. Like I said yesterday, how and why she meets him is immaterial to him because he lives in a moral vacuum thanks to his illness. He only cares that she is coming.

I liked how they showed Geet's trepidation and fear as she went to meet him but I agree that she should have left SOME small hint behind. Her blind trust in Vikram's words is a tad disheartening. She really should have left some clue for Maan saying if I am not back in two hours, find me at this address. Or maybe, and I am being optimistic here, she did and they have saved it for suspense?

The last scene with Geet and Vikram reminded me so much of Beauty and the Beast, where Belle goes to the castle and offers her life in exchange for her father's and the beast lurks in the shadows until the last minute.

The precap: I am sorry to say this, of course I don't want anything to happen to Geet, but at least they are being realistic. Geet was incredibly naive in trusting Vikram's words and coming to meet him without a backup plan. If this pressure is finally a chance for her to either take him out physically or somehow escape, and be wiser next time about walking into your stalker unarmed, then so be it. I actually don't want Maan to come and save her. I want her to escape on her own and then go through conflicted emotions of whether to tell Maan because of a combination of shame, because she fell for Vikram's plan and fear that Maan won't understand why she did it.

Finally...the London client came up again! Is this a sign of MP's lack of creativity or something else? 😉
