Shagun Sharma, who is currently seen playing a pivotal role in Star Plus' Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, got in an exclusive chat with India Forums and spoke about the success of the show. It feels incredibly rewarding and humbling. All the hard work of the entire team finally reflecting in the numbers makes us very grateful.

What is the atmosphere on sets like every Thursday, when the TRPs are out?

There’s definitely excitement and smiles all around, but we quickly get back to work because consistency matters more than celebration.

A lot of unexpected twists, emotional moments and some big revelations viewers should definitely stay hooked.

For those unaware, Kyunki 2's return on television sparked major nostalgia. However, what peaked the interest of the viewers was Smriti Irani's return as Tulsi. While the show was a cult favourite decades ago, by topping the charts decades after its comeback only proves that the show has managed to strike a chord with the younger generation too. From Steve Jobs' cameo to weaving topics like nutrition, domestic abuse, cheating & much more, we ought to give it to the team for doing an amazing job.
