First it gets put on Khushi's wrong finger by the wrong man. Even there it does not stay for long as its owner either intentionally removes it or unintentionally lets it slip near the pool. Here it nearly got crushed under Arnav's shoes. After Arnav's efforts to find its owner, it makes a trip to Anjali's jewelery box which is later put inside a sugar container. All the sweetness in the box appears to have not had much effect on it because the wrong man who purchased it denies knowledge of its existence. Sadly it could not even remain safe inside the box for long because it ends up in a glass of milk which was originally meant for Nani but later gets offered to the pet goat.(In some communities they pour milk to the dead as part of the ritual, so I think that the ring falling into the milk glass can be taken to be the demise of Khushi-Arnav engagement.)

Well said Opti! THIS is what I think this scene means as well! Khushi is now bonded to both the Raizada siblings in an "un-breakable" bond! They are her new family!

The three of them will be there for each other for the rest of their lives! I thought that was beautiful! Heartbreaking, but beautiful!

The whole episode gave me a lot of heart-ache. It was that sort of episode! Kushi and La dancing chocked me up! The sweetness of that bond! Soon that will be tested too!

There was heartbtreak all over the place! I could feel the "end of an era" coming about! Those carefree months with Khushi, La and the Raizada ladies and ARHI interactions as we know it is WELL and truly over! I know I wanted the story to move forward...but there is always sadness for what you are leaving behind!

Great post Opti!! I'm thankful for your interpretation of Anjali and Khushi's bond!

@McDarcyfan... whyyy??? why did you say this, your post made me sadder than today's episode, it actually hit me now... that "end of an era" took me back to Monica and Rachel from Friends and I totally choked up :(
I really hope only Arnav, Khushi and Payal know Shyam's truth and Lavanya stays a recurring character, I prefer her screen time as opposed to Payal... wish Akash loved La...lol!

I am feeling very sad for Arnav as he's going to make his life more miserable now by getting engaged to Lavanya.

But I'm also sure of one thing - the next big explosion is going to be Shyam's revelation, certainly! Shyam's getting impatient, restless and and now since both the leads are well on their way to tying the knot with the wrong people, Shyam's exposure has to be the next big thing and it'll will happen soon IMO!

Yes, Shyam has to be exposed but one does not know what repercussions it will have on Anjali. If Anjali is scarred for life, it would also affect Arshi. It is a grim situation whichever way one looks at it.
