I think the story itself is not good ( in my opinion ) , it's definitely not making sense to me ..

I think it is more out of curiosity to see the new Manav that TRPs have gone up ...

If the TRPs stay this high for long with this story line then I will definitely feel that it is the actors and their Star power that is pulling the audience ...

Have to give it some time ..

Even with the last leap the TRPs shot up temporarily but then they dropped eventually .

Personally I think PR is a messed up story now. Koi bhi role play kare, it doesn't matter cos the CV's have made all the characters characterless😆. It isn't like Hiten's entry is going to change things. The sympathy is going towards the villains and the wrong doers- Vinod, Savita etc. what more proof is there of where the show is going?

I assume the "H" is for Hiten and the "anki" is for Ankita.

Remember that this practice of coining names is done for couples.

Hiten and Ankita have partners in real life and I'm sure Gauri and Sushant wouldn't be happy to see their partners being "paired" in real life, which is what you've both infered by refering to them as "Hanki".

If you want to refer to them using a coined name, it would be better to use "Arman", because Ankita is Archana and Hiten is Manav, and any material used to make avis and siggies would be of them at events in relation to their professional commitments to Pavitra Rishta.😊

If everyone is new then probably it will give the show a fresh start but my point is if everything has to be new then why not just start a new show??? 😕

Exactly Bonnie! If there are practically all new actors, then it is no longer Pavitra Rishta!

PR was suppposed to be focused on Archana and Manav. That hasn't been the case for a long time now. If you have to age them 20 years in order to have new faces to garner interest in the show again, then start a new show, new name, new characters, new storyline, and definitely you would need new writers!

Ekta is clever..She is using pavitra rishta as a brand name..

It will be difficult for her to get new viewers for a new show and will cost more due to lot of promotions..but the same serial even though new faces will have viewers intact to the show..she definitely is a gud businesswomen!!

So great to see you here after such a long time.😊

I agree with you in terms of PR being used as a brand name, but that can carry Ekta only so far.

Long timers like us will not buy it. She will have to depend on new viewers who will watch the new version for a while to see if its' something they like. Ekta will also have to depend on Hiten's fans to make up for the loss of Arman fans.

If viewers are like me and my reaction to Choti Bahu 2, then their interest will cease very soon, because PR with a leap of 20 years is like a second version of PR.

With CB 2, I started watching it from the beginning of the 2nd part, and realised it was a completely different concept. They began the show with Dave and Radica as children. That wasn't the case in the first version. I watched and waited for them to become adults. Finally it happened, but after a few episodes I realised the concept was totally different to the first version and didn't like it, therefore I stopped watching the show.

Ekta will need alot of completely new viewers who don't know her history, so that they will stick with the show long enough to give it good trps, before they jump ship after realising how she operates.
