Thanks for the feedback,but I still think Dev. is a wimp.Agreed she has gone through years of emotional abuse.But she CHOSE to look away rather than take a stand against her abuser,despite the fact that she had the backing of a strong willed FIL. Having suffered abuse herself.I'd have found her character more believable(& likable) if she had refused to perpetuate the abuse by giving her gay son the ultimatum of "maa ki kasam" to emotionally blackmail him into marrying-thereby ruining another girl's life.She has no empathy for Vidya's plight or life??As a woman I think its a DISGUSTING thing to have done. Just my opinion-no offense meant-please.
