Pratigya is wary of Menaka

In Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, the entry of Menaka in Thakur house has stirred things up a bit. While Shakti is adamant about marrying her, Pratigya, Krishna and even Sajjan Singh are opposed to the marriage. While Pratigya has Shakti's son, Samar's, best interests in mind, Shakti is selfishly thinking only of himself.
Pratigya aka Pooja Gor was shocked to hear about the condition Menaka's family put forth. They were all aghast to hear that post marriage to Shakti, Menaka wanted her child to be the family heir instead of Samar. "I could see that she didn't hail from a respectable family as she has claimed because neither does she like kids nor did she pay any attention to Samar. In fact she made a face when I mentioned Samar's name. She was eyeing Shakti bhaiya. If before marriage Menaka's family kept such a condition, one wonders what they will do post marriage. I want a good mother for Samar and even Bauji agrees with me. My only concern and worry is for Samar's future and well being. I am not at all in favour of this marriage."
Ask the glamorous Menaka about her designs on Shakti and she replies, "I adore him as he is a macho man with a great personality and a perfect build. Moreover I love him for his money. He is lattu on me so I can get all my desires fulfilled. I am only after money, good clothes and jewellery. I am definitely not here for kids or love. I was irritated when Pratigya kept talking about Samar. And even the budhau Sajjan Singh was an odd duck. The condition was necessary as I want to secure my future in the Thakur house."
