But don't we see this attitude every day? Look at it. Shiney Ahuja MUST be given a film career. Rape is nothing, the girl was a female...she was poor...she obviously deserved it or she wouldn't have committed the sin of not being rich or of being the same sex as this dude's MOTHER OR DAUGHTERS OR SISTERS.
Or in fact...as most of US on this forum.😳
This goes hand in hand with creating nothing for actresses who are over 30 and therefore who aren't mainly viewed as something screwable--and yes that's the whole point of our lives isn't it? To make someone want to have sex with us? Once guys don't want to jump us we really deserve to disappear from the face of the earth. It's a form of cinematic genocide that erases us from filmic existance and therefore popular public consciousness.
No women should NOT make good money...for if they do...if they do...old men who are butt ugly will not be able to hold money up as an excuese for getting the bodies (hardly the love) of the prettiest, youngest, newest and freshest meat in town.
If women are able to support themselves these guys won't be able to be fat and balding with looks that could fell a blind buffalo and STILL have gorgeous women at least try to find some good in their souls.
(fat chance the men would try to find the good in Mother Mary or Mother Theresa if she's not looking like a 20 year old---but we'll be forced to look more kindly on all men)
This is the thing, wanna buy a 15 year old? Make sure the 15 year old has no other choice but to be bought.
Want to make sure women are dependent upon your good will and therefore at your mercy? Keep em so helpless they are forced to please you.
It's a racket.
Actually if people like this know we see through them and won't GO to their pictures, thereby scuttling their careers they will realize they are dependent upon US as half of their prospective audience. That's a lot of money they'll be missing out on.
Some "feminist" griping about Priyanka Chopra's dad's comment but not mentioning Shiney's (oh so necessary) second chance---since there are no other young actors in India who could be given a shot at a role in a horror film, oh nooo---is ridiculous.
The real danger is in the attitude that women don't matter and won't fight back, that we'll be too busy desperately trying to be beautiful (so as to catch the best man) and then trying to stay beautiful until we have the requisite child which will ruin her figure and make us undesirable as a "used" object but will force the man to stick around a la SRK and keep footing the bills even when we aren't fresh anymore.
Pleh. Well I notice and will let my money do the talking for me. For us.😉
