@cyrix and ritsy agree though desi boyz coming out this month and to others how would this help his movie? Geez Akshay is known on his causes. In Canada he even donated to Kalsa school . He does give to charity. On the photo being taken hes a star so why not someone take a picture.

Someone took a picture, mailed it to him , he found it amongst a few thousand emails he gets a day and then posted it on HIS twitter account.

That someone, who took the picture while Kumar performed this public service was of his own staff or pr team

As to how it would help his movie? Remember, all publicity is good publicity especially for a star whose last few films have not done well

I guess if some one in my family did such a thing I would take a picture and let others know not because I want to flaunt but just so that other people also dont litter or damage the public property and hey Akshay is a celeb not a bad idea of spreading awareness.

Great job Akki. It is nice to see your gesture in keeping the environment clean. We should follow his path and provide our hand in keeping the environment clean. The more people do it, more will get influenced and be less careless😊

akki is promoting a good cause, so at this point, i dont even care if its a photo op to promote himself/his movie etc.

Good for him .. Who cares if this is the first time he's stopped someone or the hundredth time. The thing is he's trying to send out a GOOD message. Trying to keep the streets clean and make people conscious about littering.

@some who say it is publicity, its not bad right ? Hes sending a good msg , that we should not litter or pollute . I see nothing wrong in that, and proud that hes sending a positive msg.
