So I pasted the same dialogue which became the core and the foundation of their relation!!
They were each others' sheild...not only against the world...but against themselves too...Without Gulaal, Kesar was not only in danger of being harmed by JK evils...he was also in danger or getting lost, taken over by his own anger, and gettting prone to vices and going down the wrong lane...
Without Kesar, Gulaal was fully in danger of forgetting her own existence, of getting lost in the maze of sacrifices, morales and societies and fake values...
They did more than save each other...they saved themselves!!!!!
Am putting three scenes...
Scene 1 : Where Gulaal and Kesar leave together, leaving the murmuring crowd behind and promise to fulfill Vasant's promise together..before his photo!!
I tell you the way she takes the mojris and puts them before Vasant and talks to the frame...there is something that actually makes you cry...and ofcourse when she cries...he
Rolu has to come smiling his chubby cheeks and hold her shoulder...I just love how he does that!
I am not analyzing this scene or even the forth coming scene...
you really need to see the scene to feel the sanctity, love and warmth that surrounded that room at that moment...
Scene 2 : The bathing scene...I tell you our Saffy boy was just as besharam...Remember the first flashbacks he had of Gulaal, when he saw her after the period of 10 years was this one...Gulaal making him take bath...and O la la ..his nakhras...Nahana kyun and all...and Gulaal as usual mentoring him..how can he not take a bath LOL...arrrey ...he is just making you make him take bath re Gullu...understand toh karo!!!!😆
By the way ..see Gullu back in colour and the tantrumy bacha is back too!!😛
Scene 3 : The Kavach scene...Do I need to say more??? I mean CVs made this scene so light...but they used it in such heavy occassions...and yet it felt sooo appropriate!!!
The way the scene starts with Golu as usual throwing tantrums and is not ready to wear the 'banyan'...and Gulaal asks him severely 'you will not wear?' and when he repeatedly says no..she says she is going..and aha!! 'Kaha jaa rahi hai tu?' 😆 'Tujhse matlab'?...'Gulaal tu bhi na...bacho ki tarah ruth jaati hai! Le mein pehenta hoon!'
Owww... I tell you you cannot help but smile..the way he molly coddles her and Gulaal secretly smiles at her victory!!
That had always worked na??? her threat to go! But you see in the end Kesar won with that threat...Gulaal's thick head got working when the saffy boy banged his thick skull and hit the bed😆 and Gullu finally understood the 'threat!'...
And the Kavach dialogue...It is so simply said..with no music in the background, no flashing, blinding lights ...nothing that would give a grave feeling to this dialogue..infact both of them say it so playfully...yet the echoes of this were heard for so long...
Their commitment towards each other was never a simple matter..
and poor guy...we called him Kesudi and VG called him Sapna...is it a wonder he became house husband😆
There is another scene where she goes to drop him to school, but hte major focus is on PB not taking to Gulaal at that point of time and Gulaal meeting the teacher and then the inspector...
Kesar is also teased by his classmates...if we wanna discuss that scene will put the links...
