Yes, co-ed should exist.

You must be able to interact with people of both genders without feeling uncomfortable with people from the opposite sex.

i do agree with t. bcoz i myself have experienced this situation and if you study in a co-ed . school/college it becomes easier for u to communicate and adjust with the other gender without any hesitation and awkwardness.😊

LOL, I have been in an all girls institution from montessori to the 12th grade......and I liked it...I dont feel that it would have been better if i had attended a co-ed school....it really doesnt matter.....an all girls school isnt in any way more conservative then a co-ed...who anyways cares about what the teachers think and what the principal and the nuns think(actually, the teachers are the biggest gossipmongers 😆 )...Most of the discussions are mainly cenered around boyfriends,dating etcetera...and i have head that its the same in the all boys school too😉....there used to atleast be one girl from my all girls school who eloped every year 😆😆😭 ...one of my classmates, ran away with a guy....she had piflered her mom's diamond necklace😲😲, sold it for peanuts, took a flight with her BF and headed to Ooty 😕 , spent 10 days there in a resort😲 with a fake name, then came back home....the most preposterous thing is that her mom didnt say a word 😆😕 ..she was more than happy to have her daughter back 😕 .......so ludicrous, but true....

so you see, it doesnt make a difference 😛

those are bygone days when a person never used to talk to a person of the opposite sex if he/she's not his/her classmate.....so it really doesnt matter....but some of my friends died to get into a co-ed after the 10th grade, as then it would have been easier to make boyfriends 😆

co-ed does have its negativities too...If a person is not one of unquestionable moral rectitude, it might prove to be treacherous too

Ummmm well, co ed should exist, but they don't necessarily equate to a comfortability level as far as opposite gender go.In fact, perhaps it's not really a bad idea to separate on gender basis, at least during the teen years. It's less of a distraction 😆

My hubby studied in co ed through and through, and I have yet to see a man who is so so so painfully uncomfortable in a woman's company. So many years of female company,including a sister, a wife, so many school mates ,hasn't taught him the basics of saying the right thing to a woman. I have studies in both co ed and all girls school, and I have to admit that I liked all girls school much better. I was less self concious, had no headaches of love letters getting dropped in my backpack, or love notes being passed, or waylaid in the drinking fountain area for an unwanted proposal,or be forever in the rat race of bettering a boy!!! Or simply face the jealousy of another girl because a guy she fancied talked to me on an every year basis 😆 I am very comfortable with people of both genders, and though I have no issues with co ed schools, but I do prefer the gender based ones.
