A trade paper has hinted that Akshay Kumar, the original Khiladi of the Hindi film industry, will make a very special appearance in Khiladi 786 produced by Himesh Reshammiya, for a whopper fee.

Says an insider, "Akshay who has a very special appearance in Himesh's film is reportedly being paid 20 cr. Apparently, 12 cr has already been paid to him as signing amount before the press advertisements were carried and another 8 cr will be paid to the actor before the principal photography starts."

Akshay however denies the whole story. He says, "I am the producer of Khiladi 786. My fee is zero because I will obviously get a share in the profits. Besides I am doing a full-fledged role in the film and not a special appearance." Guess someone just jumped the gun! Akki's is the last word.

I'm just shocked that some people are still willing to pay him 20 crores. When was his last BO hit? Like 5 years ago?

^ Yeah that's just wack. He has no box-office credibility these days, yet, he gets paid a heavy amount. For what exactly? Showing those naaasty teeth of his? I have no hopes from Desi Boys either. If anything, it'll have a good opening, with negative reviews and then will crash...kind of like KI.

I have no idea...I mean SRK, Aamir, Salman, Ajay getting paid that much makes sense because their BO revenues speak for themselves. Even Kareena and Katrina should be getting paid that much. But dunno what Mr. Kumar's getting paid for?

I have no hopes from Desi Boys either...actually the only Akki movie I have any hope from is OUATIM 2 and that too only because the first one was good.

he has lost his charm nowdays actually a long time ago after welcome he just did silly comedies with no sense at all n still he is charging for 20 crores either ppl who pay him don't what they are getting in or he is good friends with the person who is making the movie.

20 Crores 😲 But I think he was paid 23 for OUATIM2... remember reading about that.. in any case don't think its worth that much.. I mean the khiladi movie where HR will be the khiladi and AK a Tees maar khan 😆

so how much will khans, Ajay and even Hrithik charge for a movie, 50 crores 🤪?
