Maan opened his eyes slowly. He looks around the room and frowns when he realizes he is in the hospital. He tried to move his hand when he felt someone holding his hand. He looks to the side and saw Geet sleeping with her head resting on the hands which were on top of his hand. He was shocked to see her back when he clearly remembered she said that she is leaving. He tried to remember what happened after she left but it was all a blur. His groaned in pain as his head throbbed in pain. Geet woke up after hearing a noise. She looks at Maan while he looks at her with anger. He removed his hand from her hands. Her sari pallu had fallen on the floor while she was sleeping. Maan looks at her and at her chest.
Maan: Cover yourself before someone sees.
He says in anger. Geet looks down and quickly picks up her sari pallu putting it in place. She looks at Maan who had turned his head the other way. Both stayed in silence not knowing what to say. Geet wanted to ask him who was Pari? What relation he has with her but as usual all she got was a hard wall. She wondered if he will ever open up to her? She wanted to ask him but for now this was not a good time.
Her last words kept ringing in his head, his past, his dad everything was making him more mad and upset. Did she come to if he was alive or not? No. Why would she? I am a shetan. A shetan that deserves no one. She is right. I don't deserve anyone. From the beginning it was destined for him to live alone. He didn't know why he even married Geet...but the moment he saw her he just wanted her. She was like the light at the end of the tunnel for him but his past made him treat the same way that his father used to treat his mother. He tried not being rude to her...he tried but he just can't..the anger is so powerful. It overtakes him...he looses all sense of thinking. And now, when he freed her she came back again. Why?
Geet: Maan
Maan: What are you doing here? (He interupts her...)
Geet: woh main (Maan starts taking out IV tubes. Geet comes and stands next to him..) Yeh aap kya kar rahe hai?
Maan: I want to go home.
Geet: you can't...the doctor said that they will keep you here for sometime
Maan: I am NOT staying here any longer...you understand? (He tried to stand up again..but falls on the bed..)
Geet: I will get the doctor..(she runs out...Maan notices that she was limping.)
Maan: What happened to your foot? (He sees a bandage on her foot. She stops at the door looking back at him...)
Geet: Woh I stepped on something...(She left without giving him another chance to say...Maan closed his fists and lied down...he closed his eyes in pain..his mothers last words rang in his head..her image of dying...he opens his eyes instantly to find Geet and doctor in the room.)
Doctor: Alright Mr. Khruana you might have to stay here for a day or two for observation.
Maan: I am leaving today in fact right now. Get my paperwork ready.
Doctor: But you don't understand
Maan: No. You don't understand. If I am not discharged within next five minutes then I will see to it that you don't have a job. Understand? (The doctor nodes his head and leaves the room...Geet stands in front of him...)
Geet: You have to stay here
Maan: No I am not staying here. I am done discussing this.
Geet: If things don't go your way then you decide to end it. Well get this straight Maan...eventually you will answer my questions.
Maan (pulls her) And if I don't?
Geet: Then I will make you.
Maan (fans her lips...she shivers. He holds her tighter by the waist putting little bit of pressure to her stomach) ohh yeah? Lets see. Word of advice Geet...don't try to get yourself into something that you don't know the consequences of. (He lets go of her leaving her to wonder what he meant...)

Maan and Geet finally came home after an hour. Geet couldn't keep him there any longer as he threated to close down the whole hospital if he is not discharged asap. The doctors had no other option but to let him go and also because they feared their jobs. How can one person create so much destruction? Maan looked around the house..everything was cleaned up. Both were greeted by Kaka...Geet looks at him with confusion since she never saw him before.
Kaka (looks at Geet and then at Maan) Maan baba yeh kaun hai? (Geet looked at Maan waiting for him to say what she wanted to hear)
Maan (looks at her and then looks away) My wife.
Kaka (happy) What? Why didn't you tell me before. Hold on. (he calls Nakul) Go get pooja ki thali. (He nodes and runs in. Maan groans in anger...after few minutes...Kaka does the arti...both step inside the house together...Maan goes straight upstairs to his room while Geet looks at his retreating figure...) It will take time for him you know. Its not easy forgetting the past...
Geet: Kaun sa past?
Kaka: Woh
Maan (stands at the top of the stairs..) Geet...! (Both look at him in fear...) Come upstairs now! (She goes up the stairs slowly...Kaka leaves them alone. She stands in front of him at the top of the stairs...he comes closer to her and pulls her toward him...) If you really wanna know then ask me...
Geet (looks at him...with hope..) Kya aap mujhe baatayenge?
Maan (thinks...) hmmm tum janna kyun chahati ho? Main toh shetan hoon na? (Geet looks down unable to answer his question) No answer? (He lets her go)
Geet (looks at him) Ek minute...I have an answer...(Maan looks at her amused) I want to know because I am your wife..this (shows him the mangalsutre) gave me the right to know about your past. Aur rahi baat aap ke shetan hoone ki...toh haan aap shetan ho...aur hamesha rahe ge...magar aap shetan kyun ho? (she holds his collar for answers)
Maan (lets go of her hands) Because it was meant to be for me to become a shetan. This shetan is giving you an option to run while you can or else don't blame me for keeping you here forever. You have the day to decide what you want. (he lets go of her and goes to his study...)
P.S. It is not going to be easy to change Maan overnight 😆😆😆
Also, I know I am giving you guys short updates but because I am updatng this daily..you guys have to bear with it😆😆
